    Bids and Tendering Manager

    Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

    Job Descriptions

    • Manage bid process and strategy
    • Prepare bids according to tender's requirements
    • Perform an initial review of the Tender documents to establish the scope of work the Tender schedule and clarify any items that are unclear
    • Understand document management, NIPEX, NCDMB, NAPIMS, DPR and other statutory documentation
    • Determine the physical format for tenders including layout, number of copies, special requirements and deliverables
    • Tender accuracy and completeness to make sure all bid documents required for submittal are prepared and signed by the authorized personnel
    • To co-ordinate, manage and support Bids and Tender (RFQ & RFI) submissions.
    • Review final documents for quality control and proof read for accuracy and compliance.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Min of B.Sc. Degree (2nd Class Upper Division) in Mechanical Engineering.
    • Min of 5 years in the Oil and Gas industry

    Legal Associate

    Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

    Job Description

    • Consulting with clients to ascertain the details and merits of each case.
    • Conducting research using legislation, case law, and other legal texts as sources to
    • decide on a modus operandi.
    • Drafting legal texts, including reports, contracts, and appeals.
    • Representing clients at meetings, hearings, and at trials.
    • Advocating for acquittal or clemency in each case.
    • Ensuring that data obtained during interactions with clients remain confidential and are stored securely.

    Requirements

    • Candidate must have a minimum of 2nd class upper in 1st degree and Law School.
    • 7 years of Post call Experience
    • Familiarity with legislation and case law within and related to your specialty.
    • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Perceptive and meticulous, with a thorough understanding of human behavior.
    • Capacity to regulate and perform under stress.

    Java Developer

    Job Description

    • The ideal candidate will have broad exposure to a variety of modern technology paradigms, including high-performance runtime systems, Linux cloud servers, and big data analytics systems. Working closely with team members from various locations and functions he/she will develop the new features in the web portal and in other MAS projects.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Knowledge of AJAX, JSON, JQuery, Bootstrap is strongly preferred;
    • Understanding of JavaEE paradigms (web services, servlets, Java Beans, Data Access Objects (DAO));
    • Understanding of modern web architectures and technologies: RESTful services, JSON, XML, JavaScript, Sessions, Cookies;
    • Experience developing cross-platform, data-rich internet applications;
    • Relational database experience (MySQL);
    • Experience with Model View Controller (MVC) architecture;
    • Past experience creating an Application Programming Interface (API);
    • Strong understanding of mobile computing technologies, Linux and cloud computing;
    • Experience with a Linux based operating system: Should be able to remote into a machine, copy files, start services, etc.;
    • Strong Java programming skills and experience in android application development and design;
    • Coding experience - candidates will be required to demonstrate advanced hands-on knowledge of Java on the Linux platform during the interview process. This will be tested in a real-time environment.

    Qualification

    • Minimum of B.Sc. degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any related field.
    • Min of 3 – 5 years Cognate experience as a JAVA DEVELOPER.
    • Must be able to implement and authenticate a Mobile Authentication Service™ (MAS) solution.
    • Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript and Java and thus demonstrate a robust command of these technologies during the interview process;

    Credit Control Officer

    Primary Responsibility

    • A Credit Control Manager or Credit Manager or Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for managing a team that recovers unpaid debt/money/outstanding owed to the organization.

    Job Description

    • Managing a team of Credit Control Officers
    • Formulation of the company's credit policy to mitigate unnecessary risk
    • Reviewing credit applications and credit references to set credit limits and ensure credit worthiness
    • Preparing journal entries, credit notes and assisting with month end
    • Review and report on Aged Debtors
    • Regularly meet and negotiate terms with third party debt collection agencies
    • Manage write-offs, bad debt provisions and setting up of payment plans
    • Assisting the broader accounts team
    • Regularly reviewing the process and procedures to reduce debtor days

    Qualifications

    • Min of B.Sc Degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance or any related field.
    • Min of 3 - 4 years cognate experience as a Credit Control Officer.
    • Previous experience of end-to-end credit control and accounts receivable processes
    • Professional Certification in Accounting, Finance or Internal Control is an added advantage.

    Required Skills:

    • Working knowledge of Credit law with Staff management experience
    • Accounting and reconciliation
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills especially during difficult customer negotiations
    • Ability to build relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Intermediate Accounting software skills, including Excel and other accounting packages.

    Salary Range
    N140,000 - N180,000 / Monthly
