JOB FUNCTIONS: 

• Resuscitation and growth of the cargo business of the company.
• Formulation of marketing plans and strategies, operations guidelines, and new business development to ensure that targets are met.
• Identification of new businesses and business opportunities within and outside the country, and expansion of existing ones. Making regular contact with clients and prospects.
• Ensuring the timely and cost effective execution of cargo business to the delight of the client and profitability of the company.
• Promoting the company’s image among existing and prospective clients and monitoring activities of competitors.
• Keeping abreast, advising and updating management on current trend regulations and policies (domestics and international) or any changes thereof regulates the cargo business and ensuring that the company does not run foul of any of them.

Qualifications and Experience

•  HND/B.Sc in Sales, Marketing or any social sceinces
• Minismum of two (2) years’ experience in Courier/Logistics industry

Skills and Compentencies:

• Have leadership, good people management and problem solving skills
• Be entrepreneurial, adaptable and able to work on own initiatives, handle changes and stress
• Basic Computer Knowledge
• Passion for Sales/Marketing
• Target Driven
• Good interpersonal skills
• Working without supervision and ability to meet set target

Qualifications and Experience

• B.Sc/HND/OND in Accounting or any related field
• Any Post-graduate qualification is a plus
• Minimum of three (3) years working experience in a similar role.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft word, Excel spreadsheet and accounting software
• Be performance driven and goal oriented
• Ability to communicate (Verbal & written)
• Strong organizational skills
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented
• Strong problem-solving skill, numerate and analytical skills.
