We are seeking an ideal candidate to lead strategic financial planning, forecasting, and capital management for our organization. This role goes beyond routine accounting to being a key strategic partner to the Managing Director, providing financial insights that drive business decisions, optimizing our capital structure, and securing financing to fuel growth.

Job Details

• Develop and manage comprehensive financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans (3–5-year projections) 
• Conduct variance analysis comparing actual performance to budget and forecast; identify trends, risks, and opportunities 
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the Managing Director
• Build and maintain financial models to support business decisions (pricing strategy, new projects, capital investments, expansion) 
• Provide scenario analysis and sensitivity modelling for strategic initiatives 
• Monitor key financial metrics (cash flow, profitability, working capital, debt service coverage) and provide actionable recommendations
• Identify, evaluate, and secure optimal financing options including bank loans, asset financing, working capital facilities, equity, and alternative capital sources
• Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and potential investors 
• Prepare compelling business cases, financial projections, and loan applications to support fundraising efforts
• Negotiate favourable terms for credit facilities, loans, and other financing arrangements
• Monitor debt covenants and ensure compliance with lender requirements
• Maintain robust internal controls and financial governance frameworks
• Evaluate financial viability of new projects, contracts, and business opportunities
• Participate in strategic planning and contribute to long-term business development

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.Sc./HND) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field 
• Professional Certification (Required):ACA, ACCA, CFA, ACMA/CGMA
• Minimum 6-7 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in financial planning & analysis, FP&A, treasury, or strategic finance roles
• Basic understanding of engineering, construction, manufacturing, or oil & gas sectors 
• Experience in SME or mid-sized corporate environments where strategic finance professionals wear multiple hats
• Ability to understand business operations and translate financial insights into commercial strategy
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling tools
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and identify trends
• Financial modelling, forecasting & budgeting skills
• Working capital and cash flow management

This role is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services required for manufacturing and project operations. The role ensures that procurement activities are conducted efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with the company’s quality standards and policies. This position involves vendor management, contract administration, market analysis, and close collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure timely availability of materials to support production, sales, and project delivery objectives.

Job Details

• Lead and manage the end-to-end procurement process to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services for production, projects, and operations.
• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans that align with business objectives and manufacturing requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and contractors while maintaining a robust vendor database.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements to secure optimal commercial and technical outcomes for the company.
• Conduct regular supplier performance reviews to ensure adherence to quality, delivery, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Projects, Finance, and Sales teams to forecast material requirements and prevent production delays.
• Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply chain risks to proactively manage procurement challenges.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and statutory regulations.
• Oversee the preparation and review of purchase orders, bid analyses, and procurement reports for management decision-making.
• Work within the ERP system to track purchase requisitions, purchase orders, deliveries, and vendor performance metrics.
• Participate in the formulation and review of procurement budgets, cost-saving initiatives, and supplier development programs.
• Perform other related functions as assigned to support operational efficiency and strategic business goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Manufacturing 
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills 
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively 
• Excellent customer management skills 
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite Software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) 
• Ability to transmit information effectively, i.e. in clear, unambiguous terms to customers and distributors. 
• Ability to write reports in clear terms using a mixture of words, charts, graphs, etc.
