    Internal Auditor

    Job Description

    • Examining records, receipts or other documents for compliance with internal control procedures
    • Evaluating, developing and implementing new control systems that optimize daily operations
    • Ensure that the organisation is complying with relevant laws and statutes
    • Safeguarding of the company’s assets from theft and fraud
    • Reviewing of daily operations and business processes
    • Perform a pre and post implementation review of financial records
    • Researching of discrepancies, operational problems or other duties
    • Recording review and interpreting financial records to determine the effectiveness of operations
    • Bringing strength and weaknesses to the attention of Management and providing advice
    • Making recommendations on how to improve internal controls and governance
    • Inspections on every function locations for staff compliance to laid down rules and regulations
    • Report and sanction on any irregularities and/or mismanagement of company resources
    • Physical inspection of supply of various consumables at all functioning locations of the company
    • Carry out an inventory exercise on a weekly, monthly, periodic or yearly basis
    • Liaise with the external auditor during a statutory and tax audit
    • Any otherassignments.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • Professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in auditing or related roles.
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and internal controls.
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

    Job Description

    • Preparation of annual audited financial statement for Zillenium Limited and its subsidiaries
    • Preparation of audited statement of affairs for Zillenium Limited and its subsidiaries when required.
    • Processing of the company’s tax clearance certificate with FIRS
    • Preparation of monthly PAYE and posting into SAGE
    • Preparation of various monthly salary
    • Banking transaction including withdrawal and deposit
    • Posting of monthly salary into Sage
    • Printing of staff payslip
    • iInvoicing and filling including sale of Green City, Isheri
    • Invoicing of Lapal House and sales and filling
    • Invoicing of AA Apartments Lekki project, including sales, project costs and other disbursements
    • Invoicing of Anike Court lease rentals, service charge an utilities
    • Other assigning job in respect of Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (LIRS)
    • Other assigning job in respect of FIRS
    • Management of petty cash and post to Sage
    • Management of cash book and post to Sage
    • Preparation of monthly Management accounts
    • Bank reconciliation statements
    • Other assigning job in respect of payment of cash, cheque and draft in to contractor bank account
    • Bank reconciliation
    • Other assigning jobs by the CFO
    • Other assigning jobs by the MS/CEO
    • Preparation and remittance of monthly pension and posting into SAGE
    • Preparation and remittance of monthly PAYE and posting into SAGE

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) may be required or preferred.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
    • Minimum of 10 years experience in accounting role.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
