• The Completions Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the on-time delivery of equipment in line with operational demands.
• The role improves the maintenance-related nonproductive time ratio of the Product Line's assets within the Maintenance Base and enhances maintenance efficiency and workforce productivity. The Maintenance Technician is also responsible for performing troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned equipment according to the pertinent maintenance program and ensure compliance with the reliability-centered maintenance strategy through adherence to the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and standard work.
• Build and pressure test Completions sub-assemblies to well design specifications.
• Adhere to policies within Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business systems to record materials and supplies, labour costs and equipment maintenance performance history such as movements, work orders, parts used and time to maintain.
• Participate in the continuous improvement culture, initiatives and improvement plans within the business line to improve asset utilization and cost of service delivery (CoSD).
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve asset turnaround time.
• Ensure self-development through the Workshop Technician Training and Development Program thereby increasing competency within workshop operations
• Coach and mentor new technicians and support on-the-job training and knowledge sharing within the team
• Identify opportunities for CI and standardization. Ensure the workplace is maintained to the highest standard using 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
• Proactively manage competency training and development with mentor and manager
• Ensure compliance with SLB standards, policies and local regulations
• Understand and use the maintenance business systems and digital tools.
• Demonstrate HSE commitment.
• Become familiar with internal tools to improve HSE and quality within the location
• Use valid documentation during all assembly and maintenance (maintenance manuals, SOPs, checklists, standard work)
• Ensure that all workshop documentation is complete, organized and available or archived to the highest standard.

Experience & Exposures

• HND in Engineering – Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Petroleum, Materials/Metallurgy.
• Minimum of 5 years’ shop operations experience in oil field Completions, including leadership/supervisory roles held.
• Hands-on competency with Completions technologies for Sand Management Services, Intelligent Completions, and Liner Hangers.
• Knowledge of tubulars, material types, connection thread types, termination fittings, and test fixtures.
• Knowledge of CMMS and Maintenance Methodologies used in the oilfield.
• Must have completed NYSC.

• The Geosolutions Geophysicist is responsible for applying expertise in various geophysical acquisition and processing techniques, as well as a strong understanding of interpretation and inversion.

Responsibilities

• Interface consistently with customers and advise them regarding processing parameters.
• Process data using the appropriate technology and software.
• Ensure that processed data is delivered to customers on schedule.
• Define, build and submit test jobs, interpret test results, provide recommendations on parameters and recommend further testing, if required.
• Validate the accuracy and efficiency of all testing and production job sequences.
• Keep abreast of developments within seismic data processing as well as communication and data transfer techniques.
• Investigate and report on problems encountered during seismic data processing.
• Assist the Project Leader with daily project and personnel management, including velocity picking and quality control.
• Forecast resource requirements and report project status.

Experiences and Exposures

• Bachelor’s degree minimum of Second Class Upper (2’1) in Geoscience, Geophysics, or a related field of study.
• Recent graduate with 0- 2 years post-graduation experience as Geophysicist or in other related fields.
• Basic understanding of signal processing, pre-processing, velocity Model Building, Depth Imaging skillsets.
• Willingness to learn, strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a high level of adaptability and collaboration.
• Must have completed NYSC.
