    Sales Acquisition Specialist

    The Sale Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for implementing all aspects of the company’s sales acquisition strategy to meet our revenue growth objectives


    • Actively approach targeted business clients (telephone, email, social networks, events, etc.) Majorly Tier 1 and 2 clients
    • Search for new client leads and manage relationships with existing customers.
    • Score and qualify leads
    • Conduct market research (analyze competitors, efficiency of sales strategies, etc.)
    • Negotiate and close deals.
    • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with little or no supervision
    • Ability to ensure he/she meets targets set and also help the colleagues under his/her supervision close deals.
    • Ability to create and develop data-driven reports and forecasts.
    • Know how to use CRM and other other relevant software.
    • Creative thinking and ability to present sales pitch to key stakeholders and decision makers in different organizations.
    • Ability to meet and surpass sales targets set.


    • Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, communications, or related field is preferred.
    • 5-6 years Proven B2B sales experience
    • Proven track record of achieving sales quotas.
    • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
    • Strong negotiation and consultative sales skills.
    • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

    Head of Engineering

    The head of engineering position at shuttlers is responsible for overseeing the entire software development life cycle (SDLC) within the engineering team. This includes being responsible for the planning, requirements gathering, design of system architecture, building, documenting processes and apis, testing, deploying and maintaining the software stack of Shuttlers. We expect the head of engineering to have strong problem solving skills both for technical and non technical problems alike. A robust understanding of software development methodologies and a multidisciplinary experience in developing diverse softwares across the different software stacks. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that the engineering team builds robust products that follow best in class practices of documentation, scalability and reliability. You will be integral to the company’s productivity by shipping products that are user-friendly and aligned with business goals


    • Leadership: Guide, manage and provide clarity of product specification to engineers to ensure timely delivery to accurate specifications.
    • Recruitment: Identify gaps and collaborate with the People team in the recruitment of engineers with required skills for the team.
    • Stakeholder management: Manage all relevant parties critical to the product development process, review contributions and provide feedback to ensure product acceptance.
    • Business expertise: Show domain expertise that reveals a deep knowledge of the nitty gritty of the business to understand how the business serves the customers and how the products support the business promise.
    • Documentation: Ensure that project documentation (both product and process) is clear and follow best practices
    • Engineering process standardization: Ensure that the engineering team is using the best practice processes in software development. Including PR reviews, restricting
    • unauthorized access to infrastructure, managing sensitive production keys etc


    Technical skills

    • Should be experienced in backend or server side programming using at least 2
    • programming languages including Javascript or Typescript for at least 5 years
    • Should be experienced in frontend development using any of the following frameworks
    • VueJS, React or Angular for at least 3 years.
    • Should have lead a team of at least 5 engineers across the frontend and backend development stacks for a minimum of 2 years
    • Should have production experience in setting up and maintaining modern devops
    • practices of continued development, continuous integration and continuous deployment, setting up such workflows for engineering teams and improving develop experience and workflow
    • Should have production experience setting up and managing kubernetes environment, deploying and scaling containerized applications
    • Should have production experience with infrastructure as a code platform like Terraform or AWS Cloudformation.
    • Should have experience developing on mobile platforms native mobile app
    • development using Swift, Objective-C, Java, Kotlin or cross platform mobile development using React native, Xamarin, Flutter
    • Should have strong documentation skills and process driven approach to managing software development practice.
    • Should have experience in setting up, managing api documentation tools and driving adoption of such tools in engineering teams such as Postman, OpenAPI Spec, swagger, etc
    • Should have working experience in setting up and managing project management tools like Jira for agile software development.
    • Should have working experience in assigning weights to tasks and measuring engineering team member productivity.
    • Should be able to provide guidance and unblock any team member on any tasks through peer programming, direct feature implementation and any other relevant approach.

    Soft Skills

    • Well spoken and a good communicator
    • Should be able to document processes and engineering decisions
    • Should be able to prepare presentations for diverse audiences and stakeholders
    • Should be respectful and empty of delusions of grandeur


    • Should be willing to come to the office once a week for head of departments meeting
    • Should ideally reside in lagos
    • Would be required to provide data driven weekly performance reports of each team member and hence should be skilled in leveraging diverse technology to measure engineering performance.
    • At least 5-years of experience leading software engineering teams
    • Experience in recruiting engineering talents and building high-performing teams
    • Solid technical background with understanding of software development and web technologies
    • Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up sleeves and get the job done
    • Experience in translating technical concepts into languages for audiences including engineering teams
    • Excellent project management skills
    • Empathy and communication
    • Grit,speed of learning and ruthless prioritization
