Full-Stack Developer / Protech Lead at Octo5 Holdings Limited

Job Objectives:

• The chosen candidate must be a proactive professional with demonstrable experience in developing both front-end and back-end architecture and management plan(s) for web and mobile applications.
• The role requires continuing and constant collaboration with internal stakeholders and product managers to ensure all deployed applications are fit for purpose and meets business / clients’ expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and implement required upgrades for enhancing existing software (ERP & STOW) components and adding new features based on business requirements.
• Review and upgrade application UI/UX interface and server-side architecture to mitigate and prevent lagging of applications.
• In conjunction with other team members, ensure seamless user interaction flows on both web and mobile applications.
• Design and implement responsive and innovative user features and applications including partnering with team mates to evolve better solutions to existing interface platforms
• Ensure cross platform optimization for web, android and apple platforms
• Create and maintain database designs for data storage and processing
• Design, Develop and implement effective APIs

Skills, Competencies and Requirements:

Functional Competencies/Requirements:

1. Degree and / or diploma in computer science, engineering, coding or software development
2. Minimum of Five (5) years verifiable experience in back-end and front-end software development
3. Verifiable experience developing and managing web and mobile applications
4. Proficiency in multiple Back-end and Front-end programming languages, such as JavaScript, CSS, PHP, C#, JQUERY, HTML, Python etc., with ability to render server-side and client-side contents
5. Familiarity with database technology, such as, MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle etc.
6. Ability to develop and interpret software and data analysis reports
7. Strong Leadership skill and strong problem-solving skills
8. Ability to plan, schedule and coordinate effectively
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
10. Excellent customer relationship management
11. STRONG personal Integrity that is attested by character witnesses
