    Commerce Teacher

    Job Functions
    The job functions include but are not limited to the following:

    • Responsible for developing in each student an interest in and the ability to understand and utilize their knowledge of Commerce(IGCSE curriculum)
    • To oversee the provision of relevant and up-to-date advice and support for pupils as it relates to the subject.
    • To co-ordinate the selection and development of appropriate syllabus and courses in line with related resources.
    • To maintain full and accurate records of students’ achievements as it relates to the subject.
    • Deliver engaging, coherent and motivating lessons to students across in varying classes.
    • Utilize learning technology in the planning and delivery of lessons.
    • To keep up to date with curriculum change and reforms.
    • Develop lesson plans in line with the curriculum objectives.
    • To plan for, provide and maintain the physical resources necessary for learning and the delivery of chosen syllabuses and courses (including for example; books, past papers, file shares, equipment etc). Where necessary, liaise with other departments to achieve this feat.
    • To undertake, where appropriate, other roles, which may arise either in the department or in the wider school environment.
    • Any other duties relating to the job as required from time to time by the Head of School / Principal.

    Candidate Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a minimum of B.Ed / B.Sc (Ed) / BA (Ed)
    • Experience in teaching a British curriculum
    • With a minimun of 5 years teaching experience.
    • Master's holder
    • Membership of appropriate associations
    • Good understanding and knowledge of both Checkpoint & IGCSE Curriculum
    • Immediately available
    • Can teach Commerce both in Junior & Senior School level.

    Job Description

    • A school nurse provides healthcare for school-aged students within an educational system. He or she handles the daily health issues that occur with students who attend the school.

    Daily responsibilities of a school nurse may include:

    • Teaching classes on nutrition and health
    • Assessing the status of a student’s immunization documentation and creating health plans for individuals with specific health needs
    • Providing healthcare initiatives within the school
    • Handling minor health issue that occur on a daily basis
    • Dispensing students’ prescribed medications
    • Providing information regarding the normal development of humans
    • Providing regular dental, hearing, and vision screenings
    • A school nurse usually has an office in which to work and treat the students.
    • In addition to working with students, school nurses have other responsibilities, completing medical paperwork, and attending various school meetings.

    Requirements
    The certification requirements for a school nurse vary by state. According to the National Board of School Nurses (NBCSN), a school nurse must meet the following requirements:

    • Earn a Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in a Health-related or Nursing field.
    • At least 5 years work experience.
    • Pass a nursing certification exam.
    • Work in school health services or an area related to school health services.

    Librarian

    Job Description

    • Teaches library workshops and conducts research consultations with staff co-ordinators
    • Leads the library’s exhibition program.
    • Supervising students in the library as they read/research.
    • Ensuring proper documentation of all books in the library and borrowed from the library.
    • Participates in professional and scholarly associations relevant to reference and outreach in an academic library
    • Manages a budget for library volunteer and instructional programs.
    • Maintains up-to-date professional knowledge and skills in areas related to needs and maintains general knowledge of current trends in the relevant disciplines, higher education, academic libraries, and information and educational technology
    • Student Aides.
    • Supervise the workflow for the Library Instructional Assistant if in a paired campus
    • Oversee the administrative operation of the Library.

    Qualifications
