Overview

• We are seeking a skilled and reliable CCTV Engineer to install, maintain, and repair CCTV systems.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with security systems, networking, and electrical components, ensuring that surveillance solutions are functional, secure, and tailored to client needs.

Responsisbilities

• Install and configure CCTV systems, including cameras, recorders (DVR/NVR), monitors, and associated equipment.
• Conduct site surveys to determine security requirements and recommend suitable CCTV setups.
• Perform system testing, fault diagnosis, and repair of CCTV systems.
• Configure IP cameras and integrate CCTV systems with existing IT networks.
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations, service records, and system configurations.
• Provide technical support and training to clients on how to operate systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and security trends in video surveillance.
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.

Requirements

• HND / B.Sc Degree in Computer science or a related cousre
• Proven experience as a CCTV Engineer or in a similar role in security system installation.
• Strong knowledge of analog and IP CCTV systems.
• Familiarity with network configurations and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, routers, switches).
• Understanding of low voltage wiring, power supply management, and electrical safety.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various job sites.

Responsisbilities

• Contribute to the establishment of the Bidders List in accordance with the Approved Vendors Lists.
• Contribute to the selection, management and performance monitoring of Vendors.
• Prepare request for quotations/invitation to tenders for goods and services in line with, allocating budgets, quality and delivery targets.
• Develop and implementing strategies for procuring goods and services for the oil and gas industry.
• Monitor industry trends to ensure cost-effective sourcing and procurement.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure the best value for the organization.
• Monitor supplier performance to evaluate satisfaction and quality of services.
• Prepare proposals, request quotes and negotiating purchase terms and conditions.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements.
• Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolving shortcomings.
• Take responsibility for purchases in support of customer-related business processes or for internal use.
• Discuss defects and delivery problems with suppliers and negotiating refunds.
• Coordinating with operations, maintenance, warehouse and engineering to ensure proper scheduling and movement of goods and supplies.
• Analyze costs, negotiating contract details, and offering strategies and solutions to help manage costs on supplies and vendor services.
• Manage, direct, negotiate, and award complex high-value and unique acquisitions for goods and services.

Qualifications

• B.Sc in Supply Chain Management or Logistics
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the same or similar role
