• Keep inventory of all items in the store
• Prepare weekly/month report on all received/disbursed items from the store
• Raise request for items that needs to be restocked in the store
• Liaise with the maintenance team on items that needs to be stocked regularly 
• Ensure that no item is taken out of the store without due process
• Ensure that no item is stocked out before it is replaced
• Ensure that all items supplied are original 
• Liaise with vendors on the items needed in the store or by the maintenance team

Requirements

Qualification

• OND/HND in Mechanical Engineering and any other Administrative courses
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in warehouse and inventory management with good knowledge of Haulage spare parts as added advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

The ideal candidate must be able to carry out the following:

• Supervise Mechanics activities and ensure required performance is attained. 
• Prepare daily report on maintenance activities
• Assign jobs to mechanics and ensure jobs are completed within the required time
• Ensure pre-loading inspection is carried out regularly
• Carry out regular preventive and corrective maintenance of all trucks
• Supervise highway breakdown repairs
• Must have a good knowledge of all the truck engine components 
• Must be able to assess the work done on each truck and give reports

Requirements

The ideal candidate must have the following requirements

• technical school certificates
• Trade Test 1-3,
• OND, HND and /or any other practical certificate will be added advantage.
• Such persons must have practical knowledge of the job for haulage.

This position's incumbent will manage and lead a team of technicians in allocating workload and managing the day-to-day operations in the maintenance yard. It requires the job holder to have hands-on experience in automobile repairs and maintenance. The job holder also co-ordinates resources and liaises with internal and external key contacts to ensure work is delivered on time and to a desirable quality standard.

Requirements

Qualifications and other skill sets.

• HND / B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering (Specialization in Commercial Vehicles)
• Minimum of 3-5 years strong Engineering experience with an established Commercial Vehicle Workshop (Trucks specifically)
• Perfect knowledge of Auto Trucks.
• Problem solving skill and team spirit.
• Product knowledge & skills to handle technical problems, warranty issues.
• Ability to guide & train others.
• Good communication ability both verbally and in writing.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office Package
