    Control and Assurance Officer

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop, document, and maintain internal control frameworks, policies, and procedures.
    • Conduct regular control reviews and assurance activities across business units.
    • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
    • Perform risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
    • Collaborate with process owners to strengthen operational controls and improve efficiency.
    • Investigate incidents of non-compliance, irregularities, or control breaches and report findings.
    • Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely provision of information and follow-up on audit recommendations.
    • Prepare control and assurance reports for management, highlighting key risks and recommendations.
    • Provide training and awareness to staff on compliance, risk, and control requirements.
    • Ensure continuous improvement of assurance processes and risk management practices.

    Requirements
    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
    • Professional certification, such as ACA, ACCA, CIA, CISA, or equivalent, is an added advantage.
    • 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in internal control, audit, risk, or assurance roles.
    • Experience within the outsourcing space is desirable.

    Key Competencies and Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of risk management, internal control, and compliance frameworks.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
    • Ability to evaluate processes and recommend control enhancements.
    • Strong communication and report-writing skills.
    • High level of integrity, accountability, and ethical conduct.
    • Proficiency in MS Office tools and familiarity with audit/assurance software (an advantage).

    Finance Executive

    Job Brief

    • We are seeking an experienced finance executive to join our outsourcing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing overall financial support to ensure the company’s growth and success. If you have what it takes, we would love to meet you.

    Job Description
    The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

    • Support the company in optimizing its financial transactions and systems by ensuring high standard of financial stewardship and ensuring that all banking transactions are done on time with very minimum risk and in line with organizational policies.
    • Maintain good relationship with customers including banks, vendors and staff on finance and accounting
    • Review the correctness and adequacy of accounting documents before making payments
    • Process payments to vendors, employees etc. accurately
    • Enter all payment vouchers and other journals into the ledger on daily basis
    • Resolve payment-related errors & complaints
    • Prepare bank instructions and ensure the instructions are properly and promptly treated by the banks
    • Review bank statements and post direct bank entries, including charges
    • Perform activities relating to opening/closing of bank accounts, investments, bank reference letters, etc.
    • Prepare related audit schedules and support both the conduct and management of internal and external audit processes
    • Maintain proper filing system for finance records
    • Support the Head of Finance to routinely review and recommend the revision of banking policies and support in implementing same within the organization
    • Support other accounting and finance team members

    Specification
    Our ideal candidate should possess the following:

    • BSc. degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
    • At least 3 years’ proven working experience as a Finance Executive or any relevant role.
    • Relevant professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, and ICMA is an advantage
    • Good knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
    • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel and Power Point.
    • Good analytical, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
    • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
    • Ability to work under stress to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
    • Candidate must be self-motivated, independent and proactive
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with little supervision
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Up to date with the latest trends and best Finance practices.
