Job Purpose

• The Junior Data Scientist is responsible for the overall quality of the data and sample of the Retails or Consumer audit.
• Work closely with production and field teams to continuously improve the quality of the ipsos retail and consumer audit products.
• Ensure that KPIs are produced, shared and tracked across all areas of the retail and consumer audit products.
• He/She should understand the possible market dynamics that can drive the results of a retais audit. Be able to understand and interpret the data trends. Prepare presentations for internal and possibly telets
• Estimate universes for existing and future retail audit countries, using both internal and external sources.

• Proficiency with MS Office package
• Ability to learn other software packages.
• Excellent Excel skills and expertin pivot tables.
• Excellent programming skills, specifically in SQL or SAS

Job Purpose

• The ideal candidate will contribute to the delivery of high-quality public opinion, social and policy research that helps clients understand citizens. communities, stakeholders and the broader social and political environment.
• The role will support and manage research projects from proposal development and research design through fieldwork, analysis, interpretation and presentation of findings.

Key Responsibilities

• Resource planning & monitoring by managing job assigning and job distributions.
• Provide necessary technical support to the DFM, QCM, QCE, SQCE, DME and SDME during the entire project cycle.
• Provide necessary technical and administrative support to the Operations Director during the entire project execution (E.g. planning of staff leaves, costing and budget rationalization, approval of budget, expenses reconciliation)
• Responsible for compliance and sign off for all the operating procedures and processes on data cleaning and validations (ISO, IGQS, e.t.c.) in Quality Control
• Conduct data validation team performance appraisals, Drive career developments program or plans for Quality Control team

Job Requirements

• Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree
• Professional certifications in data management and analytics will be a plus.
• 7+ years' experience on data forensics and quality control in field & in office.
• 4+ years experience as a QC supervisory role
• Experience with analytical tools like Excel, SPSS and any other relevant tools for analysis.
• Handson experience with data restructuring. data validation and data cleaning.
• Experienced in data file conversion (preferably SPSS>>>Excel and Dimension>>>Excel)
• Experienced in trend, comparative analysis and general statistical knowledge.
• Experienced in developing automated reports (with Excel pivot table).
• Experienced in Excel Visual Basic Automation and in the use of SPSS commands
• Experienced in the use of GIS for basic validations, boundary controls and polygonal mapping.
• Experienced with data uploading/preloading of survey and job assigning on retail jobs
• Experienced in trends and comparative analysis with various KPI's and developing automated or dashboard reports (with Power BI/Tableau)
• Experienced in costing and budget rationalizing
• Experience in working on multi country projects
• 5+ years experience in retail audit.

Job Role

• We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Impact Data Analyst to lead the analysis of impact monitoring data and support evidence-based decision- making.
• The successful candidate will work closely with the Ipsos Data Hub to clean and validate datasets, conduct statistical analyses, and develop monitoring platforms that strengthen impact measurement and evaluation processes

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis of impact monitoring and evaluation datasets
• Collaborate with the Data Hub team to clean, Validate, and manage data pipelines.
• Conduct initial and advanced statistical analyses, including single and multi-variate analytics
• Support the design and setup of impact monitoring platforms and scripting tools.
• Specity and execute complex analytical models to generate actionable insights.
• Ensure data privacy, compliance, and adherence to best practices in data governance
• Contribute to the development of impact measurement frameworks and reporting outputs for stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, Social Sciences, or related field.
• 4-6 years of experience managing analytics for impact montoring, strategic reviews, program evaluation, or similar projects.
• Proven experience in statistical analysis and data interpretation
• Experience working with large datasets and monitoring platforms.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in statistical analysis and quantitative methods
• Experience with data cleaning, validation, and data quality management.
• Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) principles and frameworks
• Experience in building and managing data monitoring systems and platforms
• Familiarity with advanced analytics techniques including single and multivariate analysis
• Experience with CommCare platform will be an added advantage
