    Industrial Electrician

    Job Responsibilities

    • Install electrical systems for power and industrial projects, including substations, transmission and distribution networks, and industrial facilities.
    • Carry out installation of cables, transformers, switchgear, panels, meters, and control systems.
    • Perform cable routing, tray installation, glanding, termination, and panel wiring.
    • Support equipment installation, system integration, and overall project execution.
    • Assist in testing and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
    • Conduct insulation resistance tests, continuity tests, and functional checks.
    • Ensure all installations meet required technical and safety standards before energization.
    • Repair or replace faulty components such as breakers, relays, contactors, and wiring systems.
    • Identify and report hazards, unsafe conditions, and incidents.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes and standards.
    • Inspect installations to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications.
    • Conduct routine checks to identify defects or potential risks.
    • Assist engineers and supervisors in executing project activities.

    Requirements

    • OND / Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field.
    • 3–5 years’ experience in industrial or power-related electrical work.
    • Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, installations, and power systems.
    • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
    • Familiarity with electrical testing tools (multimeter, megger, etc.).
    • Relevant certifications or trade licenses are an added advantage.

    Electrical Engineer for Bill of Quantity / Project Planning Manager

    Job Responsibilities
    Quantity Surveying / Cost Management:

    • Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for power and electrical projects (e.g., substations, transmission lines, metering, distribution networks).
    • Carry out cost estimation, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
    • Perform accurate quantity take-offs from engineering drawings (cables, transformers, switchgear, poles, etc.).
    • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
    • Evaluate and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
    • Track material usage and minimize wastage on project sites.
    • Support procurement with material schedules and cost analysis.
    • Conduct site visits to validate progress against valuations.

    Project Planning & Scheduling:

    • Develop detailed project schedules and timelines using tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera.
    • Break down project scope into structured Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
    • Monitor and update project progress against baseline schedules.
    • Identify delays, risks, and critical path issues, and recommend corrective actions.
    • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and site teams for planning accuracy.
    • Track resource allocation (labor, materials, equipment).
    • Prepare and present progress reports, dashboards, and planning updates.
    • Ensure alignment between project schedule and cost plans.
    • Support tendering with execution timelines and planning strategies.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • B.Sc / HND in Electrical Engineering, or related field.
    • 4–6 years’ experience in electrical/power engineering projects.
    • Strong knowledge of power infrastructure components (transformers, cables, switchgear, substations).
    • Good understanding of contract management principles.

    Site Engineer (Electrical Engineering)

    Job Responsibilities

    • Supervise and coordinate on-site electrical engineering works, including meter installations, power distribution systems, electrical infrastructure projects, and related technical services.
    • Ensure all site activities comply with engineering designs, technical specifications, and approved project plans.
    • Monitor and manage daily site operations, ensuring work progresses according to project schedules and milestones.
    • Coordinate with project managers, technicians, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution.
    • Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure electrical installations meet required engineering and safety standards.
    • Interpret and implement electrical drawings, schematics, and project designs on-site.
    • Monitor the usage of materials, tools, and equipment to ensure proper handling and efficient utilization.
    • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on all project sites.
    • Identify and resolve technical issues or site challenges that may arise during project execution.
    • Maintain accurate site documentation, progress reports, work logs, and technical records.
    • Support project planning by providing technical insights, site assessments, and feasibility inputs.
    • Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and relevant stakeholders when required.
    • Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover of completed electrical installations or projects.
    • Ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, and timeline while maintaining high engineering standards.

    Requirements

    • Diploma or HND in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
    • 3–6 years relevant experience in electrical construction works, power distribution works, or infrastructure projects.
    • Good knowledge of electrical installations, power systems, and engineering site operations.
