• Carries out all geological work required for the timely execution of designated projects in an efficient and cost effective manner, according to agreed technical specifications and standards. The scope and schedule of activities is to be agreed with the Asset Manager and updated in bi-weekly progress reviews.
• Develops scenario based geological models and realizations, incorporating relevant aspects of other disciplines to support field reviews, field development plans and ongoing drilling activities for the purpose of maximizing hydrocarbon recovery by identifying in-fill and development opportunities.

• Perform key seismic interpretation tasks: seismic-to-well tie, velocity model analysis, evaluates depth conversion methodologies and mapping.
• Compute GRV and provide necessary input to support field development planning of producing fields, appraisals and prospects.
• Prepare relevant parts of well programme in collaboration with geologists, drilling and reservoir engineers.

• Assist in the identification of Petro-physical competency requirements.
• Be a part of the sub-Surface team charged with conducting Petro-physical evaluations, and making appropriate contributions into field development planning, well planning/proposals; etc.

• The Senior Production Geologist has the role of generating integrated predictive subsurface/geological models to address/resolve subsurface production challenges in addition to harnessing subsurface opportunities.
•  He conducts and participates in Integrated Field Development studies to meet Reserves.
• Also carries out replacement targets and the anticipated Oil & Gas growth in green and brown fields utilizing appropriate technology and best practices to reduce time, costs and improve quality and standards.
• Interpretation of all available geological data to improve the understanding of the reservoirs/fields geology.
