Job Description

• Use markup languages like HTML, CSS and React Js to create user-friendly web pages.

• Develop features to enhance the user experience, striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.

• Optimize web pages and applications for maximum speed and scalability.

• Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency are maintained throughout the design.

• Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability.

• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.

• Work with QA engineer to perform end to end testing

Qualifications

Required

• 3 + more years of frontend  development experience

• 2 + more years of experience with react JS

• Good knowledge of current Javascript standards (ES6+).

• Experience with Gatsby

• Proven proficiency using automated Javascript testing frameworks.

• Proficient with CSS3 and related tools/methodologies such as Less and/or Sass, CSS modules, CSS-in-JS etc.

• Intermediate understanding of JavaScript core language concepts -- DOM manipulation, Fetch API

• Experience with responsive and adaptive design.

• Understanding of layout aesthetics.

• Knowledge of SEO principles.

• Working knowledge of unit and integration testing and testing frameworks/libraries -- Jest, Jasmine, Mocha

• Working knowledge of at least one task runner -- gulp, npm scripts

• Working knowledge of at least one version control tool -- Git, Mercurial

Desired

• Experience with styled-components or emotion JS

• Experience with Gatsby

• Proven work experience in UI / UX Designing

• Familiar with several different automation frameworks (Cypress/Selenium/Ghost Inspector, Postman/Newman)

• Great interpersonal and communication skills

Job Description

Essential Duties

• Work closely with engineering leads to aiding with architecture decisions for the application and supporting infrastructure. 

• Help develop and own release versioning control and related documentation

• Design and implement testing and quality validation strategies.

• Building Restful APIs, SDKs, backend features, micro-services  and infrastructure.

Qualifications

Required

• 5 + years of software or web app development experience.

• 3 + more years of direct backend development experience.

• Expert knowledge of JavaScript and at least one other programming language, preferably Java, PHP, Golang or Python.

• Strong knowledge of NodeJs and  Fastify, Express framework.

• You have strong experience creating and automating E2E tests .

• You have a depth of experience developing, maintaining, and securing micro-services (preferably on AWS or Google cloud)

• You have a reasonable understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Reasonable experience monitoring or tracking performance with services such as New Relic.

• Strong working knowledge of Relational database and  NoSQL DB (Firestore, Mongo DB)

• Reasonable experience, —or eagerness to learn,— security and vulnerability testing and remediation best practices (Basic OWASP top 10, Topp CWE 25)

• Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies (Jira)

• Strong understanding of software development and design patterns

• Strong understanding of AWS Infrastructure

• Familiar with monitoring and testing tools

Desired

• CI/CD using Circleci

• Experience with typescript and framework like Nest JS

• Architecture and Technical Design experience

• Good working knowledge of Prisma ORM
