    General Practitioner (Medical Officer)

    Job Description

    • Undertaking patient consultations and physical examinations
    • Organising workloads
    • Performing surgical procedures
    • Providing general pre- and post-operative care
    • Monitoring and administering medication
    • Assessing and planning treatment requirements
    • Liaising daily with staff including other doctors, non-medical management staff and healthcare professionals
    • Writing reports and maintaining records
    • Promoting health education
    • Provides overall leadership and direction to other medical / clinical Officers.
    • Ensures maintenance of ethical and professional standards.
    • Exercises independent judgement when providing leadership and direction in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of all divisional programs.
    • Proven in-depth knowledge of modern medical developments, and principles and practices of medicine.
    • Proven ability to manage a multi-faceted health organization.
    • Keeping consultants and other medical officers informed about the care of their patients

    Facility Officer

    Job Description

    • The Facility / Maintenance Officer is responsible for the smooth operations of the business premises, ensuring utilities such as water, electricity, cooling systems and all other facility equipments are in perfect working condition.
    • Overseeing repair and maintenance of building infrastructure and company assets.
    • Carrying out scheduled maintenance on company assets as required.
    • Conducting regular survey for the improvements in facilities services.
    • Attend to all facility related complaints and address all issues.
    • Ensures the environment is clean.
    • Ensures all snags are treated
    • Assist in development of relevant policies to assist in efficient running of all properties.
    • Monitor periodic maintenance of utilities and services

    Medical Laboratory Scientist

    Job Description

    • Receive urine, collect blood or other samples for experimentation and analysis.
    • Prepare standard volumetric solutions or reagents to be combined with specimens.
    • Designing and executing laboratory testing according standard procedures
    • Organize and store all chemicals substances, fluids and compressed gases according to safety instructions.
    • Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and responsibility.
    • Maintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies.
    • Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
    • Manage and operate laboratory equipment.
    • Test and study blood, urine and other body fluids.
    • Evaluate test results and prepare reports.
    • Maintain laboratory quality assurance and safety standards.
    • Cross-match blood for transfusion.
    • Guide and supervise junior staff and technicians.

    Requirements / Qualifications

    • Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree in Medical Laboratory Science and complete an internship program.
    • At least 2 years relevant work experience
    • Required: registered with the Medical Laboratory Science council of Nigeria
    • Good listening and communication skills
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Time management and organizational skills
    • Record keeping skills
    • Ability to keep information confidential
    • Patience, adaptability, dependability
    • Knowledge of the use and operation of laboratory equipment such as microscopes etc.
    • In depth knowledge of QHSE Systems, preventative measures and laboratory best practices
    • Working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and database systems
    • Ability to work autonomously and under pressure.
