    Crane Mechanic / Technician

    Role Information
    Summary of roles responsibility is as follows:

    • Performing routine inspections to identify potential issues with cranes
    • Diagnosing faults in cranes’ mechanical and hydraulic systems
    • Repairing or replacing damaged or worn parts in cranes
    • Performing safety checks and ensuring that cranes comply with safety regulations
    • Using computerized or electronic testing equipment to ensure the proper functioning of electronic and control systems
    • Maintaining and repairing crane hoists
    • Assisting in the assembly of new cranes
    • Maintaining records of service and repairs
    • Communicating effectively with crane operators and other team members.

    Education & Experience

    • HND / Bachelor’s Degree In Engineering or related field
    • Minimum of 3 years of in a reputable organization.
    • Previous experience in Construction industry is an added advantage

    Competencies Required:

    • Knowledge of Crane repairs and Maintenance.
    • Good communication and team player
    • Attention to Details
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

    HSE Officer

    Key Responsibilities
    HSE Management System Implementation:

    • Assist in the implementation and enforcement of the company's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management system to ensure compliance with applicable standards, policies, and regulations.

    Toolbox Talks and Site Inductions:

    • Conduct daily toolbox talks to ensure workforce awareness of site-specific risks and safety protocols.
    • Carry out site inductions for new employees, contractors, and visitors to familiarize them with site safety policies and procedures.

    Inspections and Equipment Monitoring:

    • Perform daily site inspections to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.
    • Conduct routine equipment inspections to ensure safe and proper functioning in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.

    Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA):

    • Identify workplace hazards, assess associated risks, and recommend appropriate control measures.
    • Maintain up-to-date records of identified risks and implemented control strategies.

    Educational Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as HSE, IOSH,NEBOSHor OSHA certification are an added advantage.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction, manufacturing, or oil and gas sector is preferred.

    Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of HSE laws, regulations, and best practices.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills for delivering toolbox talks and training.
    • Ability to conduct risk assessments and recommend practical safety solutions.
    • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation.

    Mobile Crane Electrician

    Job Summary

    • Servicing and maintaining Electrical systems
    • Performing preventive maintenance on crane
    • Trouble shooting complex Electrical diagrams
    • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
    • Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fibre-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components
    • Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance
    • Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors
    • Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems
    • Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices
    • Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
    • May install, maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices.

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree or HND, In Engineering or related field
    • Minimum of 3 years of in a reputable organization.
    • Previous experience in Construction industry is an added advantage

    Competencies Required:

    • Knowledge In maintaining heavy duty equipment
    • Good communication and team player
    • Attention to Details
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
