    Operations Finance Manager

    Position Overview

    • This role is mainly centered on financial planning, performing complex financial analysis assignments; identifies and assesses merger and acquisition opportunities; responsible for providing advice on regulatory, tax and financial planning decisions, coordinating and consolidating annual budgets.
    • Individual contributor who guides others in resolving complex issues in specialized area based on existing solutions and procedures; works independently with guidance only in the most complex situations.

    Function Related Activities / Key Responsibilities

    • Partner with Franchise operational finance leaders, Operational Finance Zone Lead and Africa Organization Unit CFO to support Franchise and/or local customer activities at the Franchise Unit level, to drive alignment across multiple stakeholders, and to develop the key insights needed to inform strategic priorities, including: 
    • Manage franchise (bottlers) and customer relationships at the local level for growth, alignment and portfolio expansion
    • Drive P&L across full portfolio and all routes to consumer, including volume, revenue, profit, margin analysis and market share .
    • Support overall commercial strategy & objectives including RGM, channel strategy and trade spend.
    • Support insights and brainstorm with customers/Bottlers on local business issues; Prepare & support internal stakeholders on on-going negotiations 
    • Manage all Business Models and Margins within the Franchise, including: 
    • Execution of business models optimization and system top line growth 
    • Assessment and segmentation by Franchise Unit (Fixed vs hybrid vs incidence) 
    • Incidence Pricing negotiations at Franchise level  
    • Manage Mergers & Acquisitions and Revenue growth Management: 
    • Main contact point for M&A analysis and assessment at Franchise level 
    • Lead the financial implementation of new business models
    • Main point of contact for legal/Tax/Treasury/M&A at Franchise level  
    • Analyze and Support Working Capital and Cash Management.

    Education Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree and Postgraduate / Master's Degree / CPA or equivalent

    Related Work Experience:

    • 8 - 10 years of experience in senior financial planning or senior commercial finance roles

    Plant Safety Manager

    About the Job

    • The Plant Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Safety Management Systems in compliance with the Coca-Cola operating requirements, OHSAS 45001, and other applicable local and legal requirements.

    Your New Key Responsibilities

    • Develop, implement, and maintain a Safety Management System on KORE and OHSAS 45001 Standards and supervise the Plant's Health and Safety program.
    • Keep aware of proposed changes to national Health and Safety laws/directives, internal policies potentially likely to be applicable.
    • Manage the operations of contractors and external visitors and ensure that they comply with safety guidelines.
    • Advise Management on OHS trends and indicators. Conduct routine drills to test emergency preparedness for all likely emergency scenarios.
    • Provide first aid facilities and ensure that first aid replaceable kits are up to date, available and accessible. Issue work permits for hazardous tasks. Provide timely logging of incidents and ensure closure in the IMCR Database.
    • Carry out safety inspections of material handling equipment. Ensuring safe warehouse stacking of materials and finished products Inspect all modifications and installation of plant and equipment before commissioning.
    • Carry out Safety inspection of equipment including machine safeguarding, portable electrical devices.
    • Review all safety rules on a regular basis and recommend suitable changes where necessary. Investigate all accidents and damage to plant property, identify root causes and recommend action to prevent reoccurrence.
    • Coordinate plant budget, provision, and the administration of same for Health and Safety Management.
    • Ensure timely and accurate submission of safety reports to plant manager and Head office.
    • Align with internal customers and projects in achieving targets and goals while ensuring that Safety standards are not compromised.
    • Periodically review competency levels and identification of training needs for associates. Induct all staff, visitors and contractors on site hazards and applicable controls.
    • Fully understands CSR strategy & program and promotes same across national H&S Coordinators network.

    Education / Knowledge

    • B.Sc / HND in Engineering or Science related courses.
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in similar role.
    • Efficient knowledge of SAP.
    • In depth knowledge of key Health & Safety practices.
    • Recognized Health & Safety qualification (OHSAS 45001 and NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health).
    • Membership of a professional H&S Institute is also an added advantage.

    Microbiology Laboratory Technician

    About Your New Job

    • The Microbiology Technician reports to the Food Safety Manager and is responsible for ensuring microbiological analysis of raw materials, intermediate and finished products, to verify the effectiveness of cleaning and sanitizing processes in compliance to ISO standards, Coca-Cola Operating Requirement (KORE) and CCHBC/Regulatory requirement and to implement GHK & GMP practices to maintain food safety standards on site.

    Key Responsibilities

    • To ensure the production of beverage in strict compliance to quality and food safety standards.
    • Ensure that no micro-failure is present in weekly warehouse samples and monthly QM results.
    • Ensure that CIP & COP matrix and additional cleaning procedures are followed accordingly and close out/follow up with respect to microbiology/food safety actions.
    • Ensure collection, processing and microbiological analysis of raw materials, intermediate and finished products.
    • Prepare the laboratory reagents, culture media and necessary microbiological samples and monitor stock levels of microbiology materials.
    • To monitor the performance and ensure the operational validation of ASEBI at required frequencies and corrective action taken if any abnormalities.
    • Prompt submission of microbiology trend analysis report per line per equipment.
    • To ensure good housekeeping status of all the equipment and environment associated with the lab, filling and bottling halls.

    Education / Experience

    • B.Sc. / HND in Microbiology is compulsory
    • Minimum of 2 years' experience.

    Do You Have These Skills?

    • Basic knowledge of computer skill.
    • Appropriate command and use of the English language-Spoken and written.
    • Significant experience with a measure of cost reduction initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
    • Good oral communication, influencing and relationship skills.
