Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Care Assistant located in Lekki. The Care Assistant will be responsible for providing daily care to patients, which includes assisting with personal hygiene, mobility, meals, and medication.
• Additionally, the Care Assistant will provide support to patients with dementia, perform manual handling tasks as needed, and communicate effectively with patients and their families.
• This role requires a compassionate individual who can offer emotional support and ensure the well-being of patients.

• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Patience and empathy in dealing with patients

Job Description

• We are looking for a driver who will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of [patients/staff/goods/equipment] to designated locations.
• This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong understanding of traffic laws, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles (cars, ambulance).
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely arrivals and deliveries, considering traffic and road conditions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
• Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or incidents promptly to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, deliveries, and other relevant information.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
• Assist with loading and unloading [goods/equipment], if required.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor.
• Handle cash or payment transactions, if applicable, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• A Primary school leaving certificate or SSCE.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• At least 4-5 years of Driving Experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Good knowledge of the Lagos road network.
• Ability to navigate traffic using google map.
• Good knowledge of road signs and Lagos state traffic law.
