Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Protects all company assets in the warehouse including non-stock merchandise
• Provides a safe and clean environment for warehouse personnel
• Places stock orders as required
• Counts and receives incoming merchandise; reports shortages overages to management in a timely manner, before required deadlines
• Counts and completes all appropriate paperwork for merchandise returns to vendors
• Provides ongoing stock replenishment to the sales floor
•  Isolates, sorts, and organizes all damaged and outdated products for subsequent supplier credits and returns
• Keep up-to-date on the latest federal and state safety regulations
• Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner
• Organizes all merchandise for annual inventory
• Assists in inventory and reconciliation of inventory variances
• Notify management of out of stock merchandise
• Assist in stocking of stores and backrooms
• Assist in trash removal and recycling

*Skills and Qualifications*

• Proven 3 - 5 years’ work experience as a Warehouse Manager
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases

Job Description:

• Provide strategic leadership and execution of activities alongside effective leadership of teams on site and the production shop floor.
• Managing, maintaining, and establishing maintenance procedures for production lines in a food manufacturing environment to ensure production meets or performs better than budget.
• Plan and draw up a production schedule
• Decide on and order the resources that are required and ensure stock levels remain adequate
• Develop associate and supervisor skills by conducting training meetings; one on one development sessions; outside technical skills training; and establishing and monitoring performance reviews for supervisors.
• Responsible for maintaining Food Safety and Quality Systems as assigned.
• Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime
• Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations
• Collate and analyses data, putting together production reports for both factory managers and customers

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in a production environment preferably in food, beverage or FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrable experience in problem solving methodologies/tools.
• Specific expertise in maintenance, quality, health and safety
• Bachelor’s degree in production or any other related degree
