    Information Technology Officer

    Description

    • The IT Officer will provide support and maintenance to the project’s computer and network infrastructure to ensure stable operations.
    • S/he will implement new IT solutions to improve business efficiency and productivity and will maintain/support implemented systems to ensure high end-user satisfaction.
    • S/He will maintain, monitor and troubleshoot server systems and networks, automated backup and restore operations and mission-critical applications such as email, file/print services and other line of business applications to allow IT respond proactively to emerging problems and perform ongoing IT “housekeeping” functions.
    • Perform installations of operating systems, layered products, and third-party products for multi-user computer systems that host corporate applications, databases and websites. Maintain Local Area Networks, Wireless networks, Firewalls and other essential network services as appropriate.
    • Assist and perform software installations and upgrades as required.                                                                                      

    Minimum Recruitment Standard

    • BSc / BA Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or its recognized equivalent with 4 - 6 years post-national youth service relevant experience.
    • Or MS/MA Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or its recognized equivalent, and 3 - 4 years post-national youth service relevant experience.
    • Candidate must possess Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certifications, Microsoft 365 Certified, ITIL.
    • Experience with a multi-site network (at least 3 sites) with a minimum of 200 users is highly desirable.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite, including SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in SharePoint and digital collaboration platforms.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Intune management for device security and compliance.
    • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, network administration, software management and cybersecurity principles
    • Experience with diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.

    Assistant Technical Officer - Procurement, Supply & Logistics

    Description

    • The ATO-PSL will provide technical assistance and capacity building to IAs, Partners and the project to strengthen national/state systems for procurement and supply chain management of health commodities.
    • Ensure that all distribution documentation for health commodities in AHNi, with funding agencies, suppliers, implementing partners and regulatory bodies is complete and compliant.
    • Assist in providing technical coordination in product selection, quality assurance, receipt of commodities and efficient storage and distribution systems.
    • Work with the Technical Officer-PSL in developing, maintaining and improving a logistics management information system and an electronic inventory control system for tracking commodities as well as facilitating data entries into the district health information system.                               

    Minimum Recruitment Standard

    • B. Pharm, BSc / BA Degree in Logistics, Pharmacy, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or any relevant field with 3 - 5 years post-national youth service experience in managing a PSM cycle (including rational health commodities selection, forecasting / quantification).
    • 1-year progressive experience in supporting Health Systems Strengthening activities (such as health financing, human resources for health and/ or other related areas) is required.
    • Or MPH MBBS/MD or MLS in relevant fields with at least 2 years post-national youth service experience in managing a PSM cycle (including rational health commodities selection, forecasting /quantification.

    Project Driver

    Description

    • The Project Driver will provide a variety of transportation support to the project.
    • He will convey project Staff and Consultants to designated approved locations, ensure adequate safety, cleanliness, security and maintenance of the project vehicle assigned, ensure proper day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle through timely minor repairs, arrangements for major repairs, timely changes of oil, check of tires, brakes, car washing, etc.
    • Ensure availability of all the required documents/supplies including vehicle insurance, vehicle logs, office directory, and necessary spare parts.
    • Plan route and requirements by studying schedule or ad-hoc request by the office.
    • Ensure passengers adhere to all road safety regulations.                    

    Minimum Recruitment Standard

    • Secondary school leaving certificates, apprentice certificates or any other equivalent certificates with a minimum of 5 - 6 years experience
    • Must have a Trade Test Certificate and a valid Driving License
    • Must have expert knowledge of driving rules and regulations
    • Experience as a Driver mechanic will be an added advantage
    • Experience with large complex organizations is preferred.
