The Field Auditor will set up retail performance management and commence auditing the performance of shops in terms of customer care, sales support, shop management and stock management.

Responsibilities

• The main purpose of a field auditor is to perform proper inventory and compliance audits as well as auditing if the operations and service offered by the retail team are consistent with M-KOPA best practice.
• Leading in setting up audit and improving retail audit processes in Nigeria.
• Performing physical counts and reconciliation of variances in all M-Kopa outlets.
• Analysis of stock audit results and using these in monitoring and reporting of service performance at the stock locations, identify areas and opportunities for improvement.
• Accurately and objectively scoring shops using the laid down processes during audits.
• Work with warehouse team and stock allocation team to perform investigations on the stock variances and provide feedback and solution on stocks audit.
• Performing key compliance checks in the M-Kopa Retail outlets i.e., on Branding, Look & Feel, Covid compliance, Record keeping, adherence to company processes etc. and the suitability of the outlet in the preservation and security of stock or any company property.
• Reporting of all audit findings through detailed preparation of reports and feedback to shops.
• Escalating of any suspicious/fraudulent activities picked out while performing their daily tasks.
• Provide support as required to resolve issues arising in the field.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any field. 
•  At least 3 years’ experience in stock management or 2 years as operations and stock auditor in  a similar company. 
•  Proficiency in Microsoft Office with basic MS Excel and MS word knowledge and good  reporting skills 
• Detail oriented, excellent organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities. 
• Ability to work with tight deadlines. 
• Good time management, punctuality, and timeliness. 
• Clear communication on email, telephone, in person. 
• Ability to manage overlapping timelines and create task schedules/calendars.  
• Exceptional work ethic and compliance to company Anti-bribery and Corruption policy.  
• Able to self-manage and take initiative without being micro-managed.

They should have a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and executing climate-related projects in a technology-driven environment.
• The candidate should possess a deep understanding of decarbonization strategies, carbon markets, and sustainability frameworks such as Net Zero and science-based targets. They should also be familiar with ESG principles, carbon trading systems, and climate-related regulatory requirements, and be proficient in using data tools for sustainability reporting and carbon measurement.
• Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills are essential, with the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, excellent communication skills are necessary to engage with senior management, investors, and external partners effectively.

The main purpose of a Regional Retail Coordinator is to support retail shops, depots and stock points on day-to-day basis on logistics, stock, customer and sales service for smooth running and resolution of issues.

Duties

• Stock in shops: Mitigate stock shortage occurrence in the region by re-ordering understocked SKUs to individual shops
• Aged stock: Support FSMs, SEs and shops in aged stock returns and reallocations as well as in reporting lost phones
• DSR stock holding: Support FSMs, SEs, and shops to ensure all active selling DSRs and new DSRs are holding stock within the min-max levels
• Phone repairs: Manage the delivery of phones to repair center within SLA and customers pick repaired phones within SLA too
• Cancellations: Ensure cancellations within the region are closed in time.
• Resolve issues experienced by shop assistants as they arise
• Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• At least 2 years of working in sales or retail field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with basic MS Excel and MS word knowledge and good reporting skills
• A good leader with empathy ready to support low-level employees
• Clear communication on email, telephone, in person.
• Able to self-manage and take initiative without being micro-managed.
• At least a college diploma in a business-related field

You will stay up-to-date on carbon credit systems and the evolving landscape of carbon offsetting regulations across M-KOPA’s markets. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will embed sustainability into M-KOPA’s products, operations, and business model, while contributing to the company’s ESG strategy with an emphasis on carbon reduction and climate-responsible growth. Additionally, you will secure strategic partnerships and funding opportunities, including grants and carbon credits, to support M-KOPA’s e-mobility and device sustainability initiatives. Engaging with key stakeholders, you will promote M-KOPA’s climate initiatives, carbon measurement, and carbon credit projects. You will also lead the creation of thought leadership content, advocating for climate impact and driving the adoption of data-driven solutions for climate risk modeling and impact evaluation.
