    Financial Reporting Manager - Head Office

    Job Purpose

    This role supports statutory financial reporting and other financial regulatory engagements to deliver accurate financial reporting that complies with IFRS standards and local financial reporting regulations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in preparation of schedules and analysis for inclusion in the quarterly and annual audited financial reports for all Beta Glass operations
    • Prepare draft financial statements both quarterly and annually for review
    • Prepare relevant schedules and reports to be included in a power point presentation to the Board of Directors
    • Review of accounts and financial records, under the supervision of the line manager to ensure financials are recorded in accordance with the relevant IFRS standards and in compliance with Financial Reporting Council’s Regulations in Nigeria
    • Participate in the review and discussion of any new accounting standards and their impact on the business
    • Support in follow-up with printing company and company secretary to produce annual report for the shareholders of Beta Glass Plc
    • Collaborate closely with the Finance Controller to actively manage the external audit process, ensuring timely execution and providing regular updates and feedback on audit status.
    • Engage with all finance teams in various divisions on matters relating to financial reporting to ensure accuracy of the accounting records in support of reliable and correct financial reporting.
    • Engage in Corporate Governance matters as may be assigned and support in responding to request from other units or departments in relation to the financial accounting and reporting

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting or any other related disciplines
    • 7-10 years’ experience
    • Member of Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN) with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience
    • Knowledgeable in financial reporting that meets IFRS standards and other local regulations, proficient in the use of Microsoft office tools and other analytical tools that aid review and reporting of financial information and effective communication skills in English language
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision or any other Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software

    Instrumentation Specialist

    Job purpose

    Oversee the installation, testing, repair and calibration of instrumentation and control equipment to ensure smooth functioning of plant operations.

    Responsibilities

    • Troubleshoot and repair of instrumentation control system and telecommunication equipment
    • Carry out preventive and planned maintenance according to the schedule
    • Testing and calibration of all measuring instruments
    • Record shift activities in the logbook
    • Report and ensure prompt response to all breakdowns that are prone to affect production to reduce downtime

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Electronics Engineering or any other related fields
    • 1- 3 years’ experience in a similar role
    • Ability to read and interpret as well as modify circuits
    • Ability to critically analyze electronic and instrumentation faults and proffer solutions.
    • Use of Microsoft offices - Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
    • Good communication skills - oral and written

    Finance Manager – ICM, Ibadan

    Job Purpose

    Plan and direct financial activities of the Nigeria ICM operations (Sales and Service) to ensure achievement of financial objectives and targets through optimum use of the company's financial resources.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the annual financial and operating plan, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting management, ensuring financial accuracy and integrity of reports in accordance with company policies.
    • Facilitate decision making and financial performance appraisal, by producing management reports of actual performance, forecasts and variance analyses and by identifying trends per business units and drill down financial performances.
    • Ensure accounting meets customer service standards providing compliance with Frigoglass policy and appropriate regulatory country requirements.
    • Ensure accurate analysis of tax legislation and resolve all taxation issues that may arise.
    • Ensure the Credit Control policy and the approval process of the Credit limits to customers.
    • Coordinate, develop and maintain relationship with banks, fiscal consultants, lawyers (including company authorizations follow-up); external auditors and local tax authorities
    • Manage the receivables collection process in collaboration with concerned departments.
    • Manage the financial activities of the company to ensure conformity with stipulated guidelines, national & international legal regulations and accounting standards.
    • Prepare monthly reports including profitability analysis, KPI reports, consolidated Profit &Loss.
    • Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets.
    • Manage and approve the cash-flow projections and prepare proposals for the minimization of financial risk.
    • Monitor the financial agreements with customers and suppliers to ensure compliance with the existing contracts and group policies.
    • Ensure the provision, proper operation & maintenance of IT system solutions to offer the necessary operating tools to the organization.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting or any other related discipline
    • 7-10 years’ experience
    • Member of Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN)
    • Tax expertise – Full knowledge of local tax regulations
    • Good report writing skills – evaluation or situation analysis and recommendation
    • Good knowledge and application of accounting and financial management
    • Budgeting and financial reporting skills
