    Senior Lift Technician (Maintenance)

    Roles / Responsibilities

    • Following a pre-established schedule, performs preventive maintenance and cleaning escalators, including checking handrails, steps, combs, contacts, relays, plates, rollers and brakes.
    • Performs preventive maintenance and adjustments on elevators, including door operations, hydraulic and cable elements, interlocks, relays, hoists and governors.
    • Inspects for maintenance needs, makes basic repairs to ensure safety, places barricades or signs and notifies fore worker.
    • Repairs escalators and elevators, determining the exact nature of the malfunction; replaces work parts, including handrails, bearings and electrical components.
    • Inspects equipment to determine reasons for frequent failures and problems; suggests improvements and works with engineering and other maintenance staff regarding modifications.
    • Uses diagnostic test equipment and precision measuring devices in the course of the work; performs basic welding as required to complete repairs.
    • Reads and interprets diagrams, engineering drawings, manuals, schematics and work orders; measures, tests and inspects completed work to confirm adherence to specifications.
    • Maintains records of work performed and parts and materials used.
    • Operates District vehicle to reach equipment to be serviced; may operate cranes or other equipment as required for repair; follows proper safety procedures.
    • Answers patron questions regarding work activities; requests supplies through supervisor or from stock.

    Qualifications

    • B.Sc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
    • Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 years working experience in a Lift company (OTIS Lift preferably).

    Facility / Site Supervisor

    Roles / Responsibilities

    • Receive daily incoming work orders and ensure proper distribution internally and externally.
    • Distribute work orders to ensure all work orders are actioned according to their level of response as defined by SLA’s and KPI’s.
    • Receive and issue deliveries for the office.
    • Maintain the ETCOFM site office in line with company guidelines and the instructions of the Facility Manager.
    • Prepare reports and compile data as required by the Facility Manager.
    • Instruct the technical staff and contractors on the work requirement to complete maintenance activities.
    • Inspect the work for quality of material used and service delivery within agreed SLA.
    • Track all job orders until timely completion and update records accordingly.
    • Ensure that daily report of site operation prepared and sent to Facility Manager on time 
    • Ensure that company HSE policies are followed.
    • Manage HSE tool box meetings as per schedule.
    • Assist the Facility Manager with the organization and preparation of monthly and other MIS reporting functions.
    • Maintain all documentation in line with company policy and filing requirements.
    • Meet with customers and assist with the resolution of client complaints.
    • Be a key support staff member as required for the Facility Management Team.

    Qualifications

    • B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering.
    • Minimum of 5 years working experience in a facility management company.

    Procurement Officer

    Roles / Responsibilities

    • Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies
    • Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
    • Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
    • Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
    • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
    • Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
    • Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
    • Manage minimum required stock.
    • Manage suppliers’ contracts and fix price lists. 
    • Restocking at ordering level. Accordingly, the purchasing department’s purchases materials as per quantity and quality stated therein.
    • Comply with company policies and procedures to ensure security of company’s and customers assets.
    • Maintain up-to-date information concerning the Record details of complaints and actions taken.
    • Communicate and coordinate with internal departments.
    • Participate in the monthly, quarterly and annual stock taking exercise.
    • Specialize, categorize and maintain the suppliers/vendors register in the system
    • Ensure that suppliers/vendors assessment are conducted twice every year.
    • Any other duties or responsibility maybe assigned to you.

    Qualifications

    • B.Sc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
    • Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 years working experience in a facility management company with Engineer background.
