    Facility Manager - Civil (Asaba)

    We are seeking an experienced Facility Manager with a strong Civil Engineering background to oversee and manage the structural integrity of our facilities in Asaba, Delta State. The ideal candidate will focus on identifying, analyzing, and resolving structural issues, ensuring the safety, functionality, and longevity of our buildings. This role combines technical expertise with practical facility management experience to provide solutions that maintain high standards of infrastructure quality.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee the structural maintenance and integrity of all facilities under management.
    • Identify, investigate, and propose solutions for structural issues, including cracks, foundation concerns, and other building defects.
    • Conduct regular inspections, surveys, and assessments to ensure building safety and compliance with engineering standards.
    • Coordinate with contractors, artisans, and service providers for repairs, renovations, and preventive maintenance.
    • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent structural deterioration.
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all maintenance activities.
    • Prepare reports and recommendations for facility improvements, risk mitigation, and budget planning.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
    • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in facility management or building maintenance, with focus on structural issues.
    • Strong knowledge of structural engineering, building codes, and preventive maintenance.
    • Experience managing contractors and technical teams.
    • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
    • Ability to prepare technical reports and communicate recommendations clearly.
    • Knowledge of HSE regulations and standards.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and any facility management software is an advantage.

    HSE Advisor

    We are seeking a dedicated and result-driven HSE Advisor to join our team. As an HSE Advisor, you will play a crucial role in promoting a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility within our organization. You will work closely with management and employees to develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures that ensure compliance with local and international regulations.

    Responsibilities

    Health, Safety, and Environment Compliance

    • Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with local, national, and international standards.
    • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify risks and recommend corrective actions.
    • Ensure all activities on-site adhere to safety protocols and best practices.

    Risk Assessment and Incident Management

    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HSE initiatives and programs
    • Organize drills, such as fire evacuations, and ensure employees are prepared for emergencies.

    Documentation and Reporting

    • Maintain accurate records of HSE inspections, risk assessments, incidents, and audits.
    • Prepare periodic reports for senior management on HSE performance, compliance status, and recommendations.

    Stakeholder Engagement

    • Act as the point of contact for regulatory bodies during inspections and audits.
    • Collaborate with project teams, facility managers, and tenants to align on HSE goals and objectives.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor\'s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in the real estate industry
    • NEBOSH certification is required.
    • Relevant HSE certifications, such as ISO 45001, are required
    • In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and standards applicable to Nigeria and international best practices
    • Proven experience in developing and implementing HSE policies and procedures
    • Strong skills in risk assessment, incident investigation, and root cause analysis
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HSE management software
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
