Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Multiskilled Technician with strong expertise in generator maintenance and plumbing systems. The technician will be responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of generators, plumbing systems, and ensuring minimal downtime in facility operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Generator Maintenance:

• Conduct regular preventive and corrective maintenance of diesel and petrol generators.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on electrical and mechanical generator components.
• Perform routine oil changes, filter replacements, and battery maintenance.
• Monitor generator performance and fuel efficiency.
• Maintain proper documentation of servicing records and fault reports.

Plumbing Maintenance:

• Install, maintain, and repair pipes, valves, fittings, and drainage systems.
• Troubleshoot and fix plumbing issues such as leaks, blockages, and low water pressure.
• Carry out water pump and storage tank maintenance.
• Ensure proper functioning of sanitary systems and restrooms.
• Follow safety standards and local plumbing regulations.

General Duties:

• Respond to emergency repair requests promptly.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• Report all incidents, near-misses, and unsafe practices.
• Collaborate with other technicians and contractors for facility upgrades or major repairs.
• Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) regulations.

Requirements:

• Technical College Certificate or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing Engineering
• Minimum of 4 years of practical experience in generator and plumbing maintenance.
• Possess Trade Test Certificate Grades 1, 2, and 3 (Electrical/Mechanical/Plumbing).
• Solid knowledge of diesel generator operations (up to 100KVA or more).
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and manuals.
• Good understanding of plumbing systems (PPR, PVC, copper pipes, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Basic communication and reporting skills.
• .Basic knowledge of facility management systems is an added advantage.

Remuneration: N100,000 – N120,000 monthly net

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Technician to join our dedicated facility management team. The Electrical Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical systems and equipment within the facilities we manage. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations, and a proven ability to perform both routine and emergency electrical work effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Maintenance:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control equipment, and other electrical systems following relevant codes (e.g., Nigerian Electrical Installation Regulations, BS 7671) and safety standards.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems, including switchgear, panels, lighting, generators, UPS systems, and distribution boards, to ensure continuous operation and minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical infrastructure to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.

Troubleshooting & Repair:

• Diagnose and resolve electrical problems using appropriate testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers).
• Execute timely and effective repairs of faulty electrical components, wiring, and equipment.
• Respond promptly to emergency electrical breakdowns and ensure quick restoration of services.

Safety & Compliance:

• Adhere strictly to all electrical safety procedures, policies, and regulations.
• Ensure all electrical work is performed safely, minimizing risks to personnel and property.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and electrical system specifications.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable local and national electrical codes and standards.

System Upgrades & Improvements:

• Assist in planning and implementing electrical system upgrades, modifications, and expansions.
• Propose and implement solutions to improve energy efficiency and system reliability.

Qualifications:

• OND/HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Electronics, or a related technical field from a recognized institution.
• Relevant technical certifications (e.g., Trade Test I, II, III in Electrical Installation) are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as an Electrical Technician in a facility management, commercial building, or industrial setting.
• Demonstrable experience with both low voltage and medium voltage electrical systems.
• Experience with generator maintenance, ATS/MTS troubleshooting, and UPS systems is essential.
