    Senior Well Intervention Supervisor

    Job Description

    • IFDC Consulting is seeking a Senior Well Intervention Supervisor to support and oversee field execution of well intervention operations including Wireline, Slickline, Wellhead maintenance, and Well Integrity services. This role ensures safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of well intervention milestones in line with company standards and objectives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise well intervention field operations (Wireline, Slickline, Well Integrity, and Wellhead maintenance) to ensure safety, efficiency, and adherence to scope.
    • Maintain strong compliance with Shell’s HSE standards and COMPANY HSE-Management System.
    • Track and report operational performance against intervention KPIs and project objectives.
    • Support planning, mobilization, and execution activities of the CWI (Completion & Well Intervention) team.
    • Collaborate with the Senior Completions Engineer to ensure all well documentation is current and accurately maintained.
    • Contribute to ongoing improvement of operational practices, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

    Key Deliverables

    • Timely and safe delivery of intervention milestones as outlined in the program.
    • Accurate and consistent delivery of daily operations reports and lookahead plans.
    • Weekly updated well status diagrams reflecting intervention progress.
    • Daily HSSE reports and consolidated monthly HSSE summaries.
    • Up-to-date daily cost estimates for well intervention operations.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
    • 5–8 years’ experience in well intervention operations with supervisory responsibilities.
    • Proven experience managing wireline, slickline, and wellhead maintenance activities.
    • Strong knowledge of well integrity principles and CWI operational planning.
    • Demonstrated commitment to HSE excellence (Shell HSE experience a plus).
    • Excellent field coordination, reporting, and communication skills.

    Drilling and Completions Equipment QA/QC Engineer

    Job Description

    • IFDC Consulting is looking to engage an experienced QA/QC Engineer – Drilling & Completions Equipment to provide technical assurance for well operations through quality planning, auditing, and contractor compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality systems, audits, and vendor certification within oil & gas drilling and completions environments.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and oversee Quality Plans and Control Systems specific to drilling and completions equipment for well operations.
    • Implement and monitor an Audit Programme to ensure compliance with the Project Quality Management System.
    • Define quality requirements for contract prequalification and tender phases, and evaluate bidder QA/QC capabilities.
    • Lead development of specifications for Contract Quality Plans and Quality Manuals for awarded contracts.
    • Perform regular audits and assessments of contractor quality systems, both at vendor facilities and onsite.
    • Manage QA/QC personnel activities across project locations, including contractor offices, vendor workshops, and operational sites.
    • Serve as the focal point for non-conformance issues, ensuring timely corrective actions and systemic compliance.
    • Review and accept contractor certification packages and project handover documentation.

    Key Deliverables

    • Quality Plans, QA Programs, Audit Reports, and Quality Specifications for 20+ contractors.
    • Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) with follow-up corrective actions.
    • Project-wide compliance documentation aligned with Shell and COMPANY standards.
    • Complete Certification and Handover Packages from all contractors.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, or Quality Engineering or a related discipline.
    • 7+ years of QA/QC experience in oil & gas drilling and completions equipment projects.
    • Demonstrated experience developing and executing quality control programs for large-scale contractors.
    • In-depth knowledge of international quality standards (ISO, API, etc.) and audit protocols.
    • Strong leadership in multi-contractor environments and familiarity with upstream oilfield operations.
    • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

    Well Completion Engineer

    Job Description

    IFDC Consulting is hiring a Well Completion Engineer to provide technical leadership and support during the planning and execution of well completions and workover operations. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a solid grasp of completions design, documentation, and performance optimization within a high HSE compliance environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the office-based completions team during the execution phase of the completions work scope.
    • Mentor junior team members, ensuring they are trained to execute tasks safely and proficiently.
    • Ensure all completions equipment is inspected, in place, and delivered to the rig in a timely and complete manner.
    • Collaborate with Drilling Engineers to optimize operational schedules.
    • Report on progress and actively participate in challenge sessions to confirm well designs meet project objectives and are HSE-compliant.
    • Supervise execution of completions and workover operations in line with the COMPANY HSE-Management System and Well Delivery HSE Plan.
    • Track completions and workover activities against key performance indicators and project milestones.
    • Ensure all operational documentation is current and maintained in cooperation with the Senior Completions Engineer.
    • Develop detailed completions programs using engineering software tools.
    • Support cost tracking and participate in cost recovery sessions.
    • Provide input to completions proposals and planning documentation.

    Key Deliverables

    • Signed and approved completions program for each well.
    • Effective CWOP (Completing Well on Paper) sessions conducted per well.
    • Timely and accurate end-of-completions reports submitted to Asset team.
    • Coordination and delivery of Completions After Action Reviews.
    • Documented analysis of variances in time, cost, NPT, and performance.
    • 100% completeness of Completions folders within the Well Central Working Folder.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
    • 5–8 years of engineering experience in well completions and workovers.
    • Proficiency in completions design software and reporting tools.
    • Strong understanding of oilfield logistics, operational planning, and contractor coordination.
    • Demonstrated commitment to HSE standards (Shell HSE culture familiarity is a plus).
    • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

    Well Completion Supervisor

    Job Description

    IFDC Consulting is seeking an experienced Well Completion Supervisor to oversee the execution of well completions operations in line with HSE and cost objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of completions, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven ability to deliver performance improvements through contractor management and operational excellence.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Deliver well completion operations on time and within budget in line with the approved completions program.
    • Ensure all deviations are documented through an approved Management of Change (eMOC) process.
    • Execute all activities in accordance with the HSE plan and Shell incident management requirements, with a commitment to GOAL Zero.
    • Drive continuous performance improvement and HSE compliance through effective contractor oversight.
    • Lead Technical Limit Completions planning and execution (including CWOP sessions and rig team briefings).
    • Provide leadership for the Land/Swamp/Offshore completions team during rig operations.
    • Ensure all equipment is inspected and delivered to the rig in a timely and complete manner.
    • Collaborate closely with the Drilling Supervisor to optimize work scheduling during completions.
    • Manage logistics to avoid delays and ensure seamless execution of operations.
    • Monitor, report, and track performance against key metrics, ensuring all documentation is updated with the Senior Completions Engineer.

    Key Deliverables

    • Completion milestones achieved on time and on budget.
    • Daily completions reports and operational lookaheads.
    • Daily cost estimates for well completions.
    • Updated well status diagrams reflecting completions progress.
    • End-of-well completions reports and After Action Review coordination.
    • Timely execution of all reporting requirements.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
    • 7–10 years of hands-on experience in completions and workover operations across land, swamp, and offshore environments.
    • Strong understanding of completions design, logistics, and equipment inspection standards.
    • Proven track record of leading rig-based teams and managing contractors effectively.
    • Excellent HSE awareness and commitment to safety.
    • Proficiency in report writing, operations monitoring, and use of completions management tools.
