    Music Teacher

    Responsibilities

    Lesson Planning and Preparation:

    • Develop detailed lesson plans and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons tailored to students\' needs.

    Instruction Delivery:

    • Teach subject content using effective and diverse methods, including lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities.

    Student Assessment:

    • Create, administer, and evaluate tests, assignments, and projects to assess student understanding and progress.

    Classroom Management:

    • Maintain an organized, safe, and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning.

    Individualized Support:

    • Provide additional help to students struggling with the subject and extend learning opportunities for advanced learners.

    Resource Development:

    • Design and utilize teaching aids, digital tools, and other resources to enhance learning outcomes.

    Communication with Stakeholders:

    • Regularly communicate with parents/guardians about student performance, progress, and concerns.

    Professional Development:

    Accountant (Agbara)

    Job Summary

    Under general supervision performs accounting work of above average difficulty in the preparation, checking and maintenance of accounting/financial records, supporting documents and financial and statistical reports and performs related work as required.

    Responsibilities

    School Fees Function:

    • Prepare School Bills for All Students
    • Update Students’ Records
    • Prepare Billing Summary
    • Receive bank tellers and raise receipt via the cash receipt journal
    • Update cash receipt journal
    • Prepare report of fees and extract the outstanding fees
    • Prepare termly school fees reconciliation

    Student’s Population Statistics:

    • Prepares weekly report of students’ population
    • Update students’ class list

    Treasury Function:

    • Petty cash reimbursement function.
    • Bank imprest reimbursement function
    • Bank reconciliation function
    • Prepare of cash flow statement.
    • Maintenance of School Bank Account and supporting ledgers

    Others:

    • Involved in the school day-to-day running expense decisions
    • Work with the Head of School to prepare the budget
    • Prepare the school’s financial statements.
    • Maintain Fixed Assets register.
    • School financial analysis
    • Budget implementation and monitoring with regular variance analysis reports.
    • Advisory and follow-up on cost management.
    • Oversees inventory management and reporting.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years experience in either Accounting, Economics, Business Administration.
    • ICAN qualification is an added advantage
    • Previous experience in similar position in a School is an added advantage.
    • Proximity to location would be highly considered.
