    Sales Clerk

    Salary:100knet

    Requirements

    • Graduate Accountant with clerical experience is a MUST
    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with 2 - 3 years work experience.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Ability to remain calm with difficult customers.
    • Candidate must know how to use MS Excel and SAGE
    • Prior experience in retail.
    • Ability to work in a team.

    Responsibilities

    • Greeting customers as they enter the store
    • Working at the point-of-sale counter to process transactions
    • Assisting customers in locating products by going through the inventory
    • Calling other store locations to find items that are not available in the store based on customer requests
    • Suggesting new items to customers based on their selections
    • Entering sales data and customer data into the company database
    • Keeping records of special orders
    • Monitoring the merchandise and notifying a superior when items need to be restocked
    • Arranging items such as special sale items to engage customers

    Requirements

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure machines are operating as per required standards within the required productivity.
    • Check and confirm the safety and setting of equipments before and after utilization.
    • Ensure set Policies, formulation and procedures are observed during production.
    • Ensure minimum machine breakdown by monitoring the performance of the machine operators/attendants.
    • Ensure maximum production output is achieved in your shift in order to achieve the set targets.
    • Ensure high quality products with minimum wastage.
    • Maintain correct recording of production data.
    • Ensure cleaning of both machine and working environment.
    • Ensure proper handing over of shift [employees should not leave their place of work until properly relieved].
    • Ensure employees adhere to health and safety procedures while operating machines
    • Ensure no idler around the working areas.
    • Ensure personal hygiene of employees is observed without compromise..
    • Ensure waste generation is controlled and re-used/consumed.
    • Record and account for production, daily attendance and time spent on machine repair/servicing.
    • Monitor the performance of trainees with the view of identifying potentials in various sections in collaborations with their captains and Engineers.
    • And any other tasks that may be assigned to you by the management from time to time

    Female Senior Accountant

    Salary: 400kgross

    Responsibilities

    • Manage accounting and financial systems and maintain full and accurate accounting records: approve journal accounting entries and ensure appropriate set up of all inflow entries from ERP system.
    • Maintain adequate balance sheet schedule.
    • Ensure general ledger accounts are reconciled as per standard accounts reconciliation
    • Responsible for statutory tax compliance and implementing all tax laws as applicable to PAYE, VAT, and withholding tax.
    • Ensure application of correct rate and timely remittance of the amount due to the relevant tax authorities
    • Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
    • Identify process improvement in the finance department
    • Managing relationships with bankers and other regulatory agencies
    • Reconcile General Ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial statements.
    • Conduct financial analysis and prepare detailed financial reports and statements in accordance with financial reporting standards.
    • Ensure smooth running of the Accounts Payable service.
    • Ensure commitment authority is exercised before payment authority.
    • Manages complex planning studies, development applications and reviews proposals from other departments.
    • Ensure statutory audited financial statements are available to meet the above meeting legal timeline.
    • Respond to auditors’ comments (findings in the inquiries or transmittals) concerning finance and operations and oversee required actions to address deficiencies.

    Requirements

    • 5+ years experience in a mid-level accountant or finance role
    • ICAN is a MUST
    • Proven experience in a manufacturing firm is an added advantage
    • Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance/Accounting

    Deputy Payroll Manager

    Salary: 300KNET-350KNET

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Payroll Accountant
    • Candidate MUST have proven work experience preparing payroll on an ERP software (Microsoft Dynamic Business Central/Sage/ Oracle, SAP e.t.c)
    •  proficient in Microsoft Excel
    • Candidate must have proven work experience as Payroll Specialist in a reputable organization

    Responsibilities

    • Registration & documentation of newly employed workers
    • Management of sick leave days for employees
    • Calculation of entitlements of employees who have left the company
    • Liaising with Pension Fund Administrators (PFA)
    • Calculation of employees monthly salaries
    • Generating monthly salary reports and processing of all statutory remittances (P.A.Y.E., Pension, insurance reports, NSITF, Union dues e.t.c.)
    • Supervision of payroll officers and processing of employee id cards
    • Perform any other functions requested by the Payroll Manager and Head of HR.
