What you will do...
Participate in daily operations to support the business.
Optimizing database (SQL calls) for max performance
Collaborate with management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans.
Collaborate in operational processes and performance, recommend solutions for improvement.
Experience with SQL and stored routines.
Experience working with HA Proxy, ProxySQL or MaxScale will be a plus.
Working knowledge with AWS database technologies like Aurora, RDS.
Monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for our key initiatives.
Maintain relationships with all technology team members, external partners, and vendors to provide input regarding operational activity and strategic goals.
Monitor and analyze key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
Perform technical troubleshooting to diagnose, isolate and correct data and database issues.
Qualifications
What you bring…
Required – 8 years of MySQL management experience.
Required – Experience in MySQL configuring HA and clustering solutions.
Required – Large scale MySQL deployments.
Required – MySQL sharding architecture and techniques.
Ability to work with Linux/Unix based OS Environment.
MS SQL experience is a plus.
Software as a service industry experience is a plus.
Cloud experience is a plus
Strong communication, interpersonal and professional skills.
Proven ability to plan and manage the operational process for maximum efficiency and productivity.
Demonstrated ability to solve problems and anticipate customer needs.
Demonstrated ability to organize, set, and implement priorities and manage multiple tasks.

A motivated and technically savvy Senior Linux System Engineer who is adept at designing, installing and configuring Linux servers, storage arrays, communications networks and performing system integration, testing and operational support. The ideal person enjoys solving challenging problems in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment.
What you will do…
Install, configure and security harden Oracle Linux and equivalent
Setup database connectivity to MySQL Server
Install and setup (ELK) Clusters
Install and configure Redis and RedisCluster
Install and configure Nginx.
Install and configure Consul
Deploy and configure software on application servers.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience working as a Linux Engineer
Experience managing Linux resources
Comfortable with proxying, load balancing, sticky sessions
SQL skills
Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent work experience with a multitude of relevant certifications
Experience with a variety of OS tools and utilities for managing, monitoring and troubleshooting Linux infrastructure and networks.
<20% local travel may be required
Available in a 24x7 on-call rotation

Job Description
Support the Network Core, Firewalls, Switches, Routers, VPNs, Wireless Access Points and other associated equipment.
Oversee and manage the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of network related information systems.
Uses knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks.
Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements.
Manages and sets standards for data backups and system disaster recovery.
Facilitates daily network operations and maintenance with best practices, automation and orchestration capabilities and ensure proper effectiveness.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent work experience with a multitude of certifications (CCNS, CCNP, CCDP, CISSP, etc.)
5 + years of overall experience as a Cisco Network Engineer with mastered knowledge of Routing, Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching
5 + years of experience in a multi-location corporate environment, installing and administering corporate multisite networks and designing, developing and implementing software and hardware solutions.
Working knowledge of network, VLAN, WAN/LAN, SNMP, DNS and DHCP. Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products.
Provide network security expertise and guidance around security issues and recommend solutions to mitigate and eliminate risk
Mellanox experience a plus
Cisco ASA experience a plus
Meraki experience a plus
Available in a 24x7 on-call rotation

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, with a multitude of certifications preferred
7+ years’ experience within information technology infrastructure, shared services and advanced data center management
2+ years managing teams and leading key initiatives with a hands-on approach
A plethora of knowledge across system and network engineering in a variety of Infrastructure environments
Demonstrated understanding of SaaS based services
