    Instrument Maintenance Technician

    Category: Electrical & Instrumentation
    Job Nature: Rotation - 2 days on /2 days off

    Job Description

    • Plans, updates, and oversees all activities within his or her areas of responsibility according to the laws, regulations, standards, specifications, and procedures. Special emphasis must be placed on health, safety, and the environment
    • Supports and encourages team effort between operations, engineering, and projects groups
    • Provides input and reviews the control specifications and work practices
    • Is responsible and accountable for control systems as defined in the Work Management Manual
    • Has the knowledge to apply and follow work permits through PTWS as discussed in the Work Management Manual
    • Ensures the quality and timely completion of work scheduled by the Maintenance Program
    • Develops personal and team technical skills (for example, new regulations, equipment, methods, and others)
    • Attends and instructs (as needed) technical meetings, to keep instrument technicians informed of the latest specifications, codes, procedures, and technology
    • Develops and maintains open communications on control issues (for example, safe work practices, training, materials, and others) with co-workers
    • Supports work prioritization to maximize effectiveness and to complement the efforts of other work groups
    • Provides technical support and mentoring to other Technicians for maintenance and troubleshooting on company's instrument systems
    • Is able to generate Management of Change requests (MOCs) on control-related equipment and installation and can follow up with installation inspections consistent with OIMS Element 3
    • Constructs, monitors, and inspects new installations for their consistency with the mission and recommend upgrades as necessary
    • Acts as a stand-in for the Instrument Lead position as needed

    Job Requirements

    • A minimum of grade 12 or an equivalent high school education, preferably enhanced by related technical school courses
    • A minimum of five years of maintaining Instruments and Controls in processing plant or offshore production plant General Technical Skills
    • Is familiar with regulations applicable to the operations of oil and gas facilities
    • OIMS systems, related manuals, and procedures Specific Technical Skills
    • Meets the safety, administrative, and technical training requirements associated with this position as documented in the company operations-approved training roadmap
    • Possesses the general competencies and Operations Integrity Critical competency requirements as documented and maintained in company Operations Training roadmap.
    • Computing skills.

    Construction Superintendent I

    Category: Building and Construction
    Job Nature: Rotation (4 weeks on/4 weeks off)

    Main Functions

    • Champion Worker Safety Programs.
    • Oversee site contractor fabrication, construction, and hookup work activities during Execution Phase.
    • Serve as member of the Project Team (PT) when project assigned.
    • Provide the interface between the work face and the Construction Site Manager or Construction Site Lead.
    • May serve as the lead Company representative at sub-sites where the Construction Site Manager or Construction Site Lead typically does not reside.
    • Provide construction core competency expertise when assigned to the function.
    • Ensure good communications and relations with the contractors.

    Tasks and Responsibilities

    • Champion on-site safety awareness and safe performance with contractor and among Project Team members
    • Assist contractor in early site construction planning/construction planning prior to site mobilization
    • Serve as day-to-day interface with contractor and craft labor during the Construction Phase, providing a focus on safety, quality, cost, and schedule.
    • Provide safety monitoring/leadership.
    • Interface with Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) personnel to address quality issues/progress.
    • Provide oversight of contractor’s materials management/verification systems.
    • Ensure compliance with specifications, procedures, and plans.
    • Monitor workforce productivity and progress relative to schedule.
    • Monitor environmental compliance, as required.
    • Interface with contractor for field level changes, e.g., scope, costs, etc.
    • Verify post-site arrival of procured equipment and engineering equipment.
    • Provide on-site support to the Construction Site Manager / Construction Site Lead as required.
    • Provide support to pre-commissioning/mechanical completion/systems completion as required.
    • Coordinate Quality Audits and other site surveillance activities Perform other duties as requested.

    Field Operator I

    Job Type: Contracts

    Main Functions

    • Operate equipment and wells by applying operating and safety procedures and guidelines to meet daily operational plan, reduce equipment failure and efficient resources administration

    Tasks and Responsibilities

    • Responsible to implement on daily work objectives, housekeeping, safety, health, environmental and security
    • Active participation on daily toolbox meetings and regular, reported safety meetings
    • Identify and implement corrective and optimization actions by the continuous surveillance of wells and equipment to ensure reliable, efficient and safe operational conditions
    • Function as Equipment Care Technician, and routinely use Maintenance skills in performing simple maintenance activities
    • Report when the alarm, emergency or emergency shutdown system is out of service
    • Provide detailed, clear and accurate information when changing shift, to guarantee that unit conditions are updated and ensure operations continuity
    • Coordinate, control and monitor maintenance jobs according with the corrective, predictive and preventive planning
    • Report continuously in the log book all relevant operational events and abnormal situations or deviation occurred in the work area, equipment or personnel
    • Take samples of products for laboratory analysis and execute field laboratory tests
    • Active participation on emergency response activities
    • Report incidents internally and escalate awareness as per the Incident Reporting Guidelines
    • Ensure that Operations Shift Supervisor is informed and consulted about operations activities
    • Ensure good communication across the work team so that issues / actions can be adequately addressed
    • Provide the basic facts concerning well producing problems, current production rates, and current condition of the well
    • Ensure that the well problem diagnostics are thorough and complete before requesting Well Work intervention operations
    • Ensure that the wellhead and well surface equipment are maintained and are in good working order prior to Wellwork operations taking over responsibility for the well for intervention operations
    • Provide assistance and support to the ongoing Wellwork operations as needed

    Job Requirements

    • Completed Secondary Education and worked previously as a Field Technician.
    • Good communications (oral & written)
    • High standard of Safety, Health, Environment aptitude and cultivates the same in others.
    • Understanding of pipeline operations
    • Understanding of safety and operations management tools and processes
    • Understanding of Emergency Preparedness Procedures
    • Understanding of Project Philosophy and Design Specifications
    • Understanding of relevant regulations
    • Understanding of relevant commercial agreements.

    Discipline Inspector

    • Perform discipline quality inspection activities in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plan

    • Confirm readiness to work, including evaluating the status of key documents
    • Monitor Contractor’s and Suppliers’ quality assurance and quality control activities
    • Perform assessments of the Contractor’s and Suppliers’ quality processes and procedures
    • Perform inspections and verifications during construction and/or fabrication activities in accordance with requirements of the Inspection and Test Plans
    • Witness Contractor’s activities and endorse Contractor’s and Suppliers’ quality records, as appropriate
    • Witness acceptance tests and perform final quality check prior to acceptance of equipment and materials, as appropriate
    • Steward non-conformance within scope of responsibility
    • Provide early warning of potential quality problems

    Job Requirements

    • 4 - 10 Experience executing project construction or quality assurance/control of engineering, procurement, or construction activities.
    • Technical training or high school diploma.
    • Technical discipline certifications commensurate with work experience.
    • Willing and able to business travel (domestic/overseas) to project sites to provide various levels of support

    Mechanical Technician I

    Main Functions

    • Technicians are assigned to carry out maintenance work.

    Tasks And Responsibilities

    • Review job packs
    • Identify any safety issues associated with job end ensure removal/mitigation prior to working
    • Execute work as planned
    • Record technical history as required by workgroup. (Global Reliability Tool (GRT), data sheet, etc.)
    • Provide feedback on job pack improvements to Execution FLS
    • Request permits and notify Supervisor if permit cannot be issued within 30 minutes of requested time

    Job Requirements

    • Years of closely related field experience
    • Discipline appropriate certification(s) if applicable or equivalent professional experience
    • Effective communication skills; ability to clearly and concisely describe conditions in the field and recommend remediation steps
    • Team Player; exhibits effective teamwork when working with persons over whom the person may have no direct authority and willingness to assist others
    • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs

    Mooring Master

    Job Type: Contracts

    Job Description

    • Aboard Export Tankers, advice Ship Masters on the best approach to Loading Berths.
    • Direct Line Handling boats for a safe and efficient Mooring Operations.
    • Berthing and un- berthing of Export Tankers.
    • Ensure deballasting (Clean) is properly carried out and tanks certified to receive cargo.
    • Monitor Pollution Prevention on the Export Tanker.
    • Maintain communication with shore on proper loading rate and pressure monitoring of the overall loading system.
    • Overall supervision of loading and certification of quantity onboard in cooperation with the ship’s officers, independent and Government Surveyors.
    • While onboard, overall vessel inspection to determine suitability for future acceptance at the Terminal.
    • Member of oil spill response team.
    • Maintain record of export operations. Monitor production level and Export Tanker Nominations/Arrival.
    • SPM and Berthing Loading Equipment Maintenance and Record Keeping.
    • Calculations and Verification of demurrage claims.
    • Vessel screening for acceptability at the Terminals.
