    Invoicing Discounting Sales Specialist

    Role Overview:

    • We are looking for driven passionate problem solvers and self-starters to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for Identifying businesses or contractors that require invoice discounting loan products, onboard them and ensure that the credit facility is disbursed.

    What you’ll do:

    • Identify contractor / suppliers for reputable Companies in Nigeria that require invoice financing
    • Review and ensure proper load documentation is submitted. Effectively communicates with clients if there is missing documentation.
    • Verification of invoices with the assigned debtor, following prescribed protocol as stated by the Risk Management team.
    • Effectively manage relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.

    What you’ll need (Requirements):

    • Bachelor's Degree or HND in a related field
    • Experience working in a relevant environment. Preferably someone that has driven invoice financing in a lending company, bank, or a Fintech company.
    • Relevant product knowledge of invoice financing
    • Previous experience of delivering an excellent customer service
    • Consistently achieved objectives set for them and taken action to improve their own performance
    • An open, flexible, and supportive approach to change and innovative
    • Both spoken and written communication skills with experience of sharing information effectively, in a clear, concise, and professional manner

    Accounting Manager

    Role Overview:

    • You will be responsible for the full breadth of the financial support services for Traction which includes working with the Management team , business partners and other internal and external stakeholders to drive effective financial control and planning process to support business strategy.
    • You will also bring in financial control through a structured outcome-oriented approach, creating specific implementation plans and governance structures, and generating transparency through measurement and feedback.

    What you’ll do:

    • Head the Accounting function for the group charged with planning, governance, financial control, budgeting, commercial negotiations, and performance review of all Traction businesses.
    • Responsible for creating the accounting structure and strategy for the team and drive adoption by all stakeholders.
    • Responsible for governing all accounting operational activities like MIS, Balance sheet, P&L, billing, A/R, A/P, cost accounting, and revenue recognition and deploying the team to discharge responsibilities arising from such activities.
    • Ensure tax and statutory compliance (I.e VAT, PAYE) for the businesses with all government agencies including FIRS, LIRS, etc.
    • Prepare, consolidate, and monitor annual budgets and forecasts across the businesses and report budget performance and variances to the Management.
    • Creating the Annual Operating Plan for the business functions and refreshing the outlook for the year every quarter by working with and across teams.
    • Identify, develop, and report on key performance metrics in tailored reports to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Produce financial analysis and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including the leadership team, Board of Directors, investors, and strategic partners.
    • Ideate and execute innovative methods of financing various capital needs of the Traction businesses.
    • Manage the year-end reporting and audit functions for the businesses by working with the internal accounting team and external auditors.
    • Maintain outstanding banking relationships and strategic alliances with vendors and business partners – represent the company to banks, financial partners, institutions, investors, public auditors, and officials.
    • Develop innovative business plans, financial forecasts, and analysis for strategic initiatives and ad hoc projects, including business lines/markets/products analysis, strategic decision-making in day-to-day operations, and other growth initiatives.
    • Any other responsibility as may be prescribed by the founders or other members of the Management team.

    What you’ll need (Requirements):

    • B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
    • 7 years experience in an Accounting, Audit, or Finance role with at least 2 years in a Managerial position
    • Experience in financial services
    • Demonstrated interest in the FinTech or alternative financial services operators, peculiarities, and nuances
    • Professional Certification (ACA, ACCA)
    • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, Powerpoint)
    • Excellent knowledge of Accounting Software (Sage, Quickbooks, Microsoft Dynamics, etc)
    • Experience in managing multiple internal and external stakeholders
    • Experience in engaging different groups of Regulators
    • Experience managing teams
    • Experience in designing and maintaining chart of accounts

    Quality Assurance Specialist

    Responsibilities:

    • Create a systematic, process-driven approach to customer outreach and relationship management
    • Identify and source opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound engagement
    • Deliver a great experience to our customers while engaging - you will represent our brand and be our customers’ liaison internally
    • Coordinate with the product, other commercial and operations teams to optimally deliver to customers
    • Interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards
    • Carefully maintain and monitor complaint, call center and ticketing processing through records and tracking systems, including root cause and corrective actions
    • Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits
    • Develop new standards for customer issues management, with improvements as needed, and create testing protocols for implementation across all teams
    • Pursue continuing education on new solutions, technology, and skills to ensure company-wide compliance
    • Analyze and investigate Traction product complaints or reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines and external regulatory requirements
    • Develop or update company complaint and inspection procedures to ensure capture and investigation, as well as proper documentation of complaints
    • Monitor, maintain and analyze problem logs to identify and report recurring issues to management and product development teams

    Requirements:

    • 2+ years experience in issue resolution or call center experience
    • BSc in relevant field
    • Ability to multitask efficiently and handle competing priorities at once
    • Strong written and verbal communications skills, presentation and facilitation skills
    • Proficient in: Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word
    • Strong decision making and problem solving skills.
