Job Description

• We are looking for  Java Software Engineers to help us build functional products and applications.
• The Java Software Engineers' responsibilities include defining software requirements, writing clean and efficient code for various applications, and writing tests to improve system functionality.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and system requirements
• Design flowcharts to illustrate software solutions
• Design, implement and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot
• Support testing process and troubleshooting issues and resolve them
• Prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
• Validate software functionality and security.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other related fields.
• 3+ years of Spring Boot experience
• Experience building complex service applications in Java, and a solid understanding of the JVM
• Experience with Spring Framework and related ecosystem
• Strong database skills (MS SQL Server, MongoDB, Redis, etc)
• Experience with agile methodologies and automated testing(Junit, Mockito)
• Familiarity with containerization, microservices architecture, continuous integration, and deployment
• Must know GIT, Swagger
• Good to have Rabbit MQ and Kafka
• Good API skills technology such as Rest Webservice
• Experience on mark up languages such as JSON and YML
• Experience in using Quality and Security scan tools such as Sonar and Fortify.

Job Purpose

• As a software engineer, you will be participating in development projects for our Odoo based ERP solutions and ecommerce platform.
• You will be implementing change request and participating in the maintenance of an existing codebase while working within a team composed of software engineers, product owners and project managers.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test custom module in Odoo to meet the specific domain requirements.
• Customize and maintain existing modules of the Odoo ERP solution.
• Manage backend database.
• Integrate different 3rd party systems as modules into the Odoo ERP.
• Handle change request of already developed application modules.
• Complete and clear documentation for any task or work done.
• Other development tasks in systems developed in Python other than Odoo.
• Follow best practices for secured Software Development.

Job Requirements

• Hold a Graduate Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or any related field.
• 1+ years of experience in software development; python programming.
• Knowledge of Python development frameworks (Django and Flask).
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Good knowledge of relational database concepts, SQL and ORM.
• Knowledge of the main standard Odoo modules is a plus.
• Interest in computer data structures.
• Git, Linux.

Job Purpose

• To design, document and implement tests to expose bugs, and work with teams to checkmate the recurrence of errors in order to meet high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the pre-defined QA process and apply the same in the assigned Engineering cluster or any other assigned tasks.
• Employ Continuous Testing techniques to prevent quality issues during the development phase and ensure post-deployment satisfaction of internal and external customers.
• Ensures that software quality measures comply with regulatory standards, industry standards, and accepted best practices
• Performs the pre-testing phase of application development by participating in requirement reviews to identify potential problem areas, and make the appropriate recommendations
• Follow the automation test strategy, implement and maintain tests
• Implement performance tests to report on system capability and limits.
• Ensure security best practices for developed applications.
• Find, investigate, track, reproduce and document bugs.
• Coordinate software releases to ensure seamless deployments every time.
• Participate in product performance engineering discussions and seek to reduce production incidences and customer dissatisfaction
• Identifies, reports, guides and tracks the rectification of faults in products during the development stage

Requirements 

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Computer / System / Electrical / Electronic Engineering / Computer Science or a related discipline
• ISTQB is a plus
• 1 - 2 years hands-on experience in Testing and Automation
• Knowledge of Selenium Webdriver, Databases - SQL Server, Redis, Mongo DB
• Proficiencies  in  Postman, BDD (Cucumber), Appium Framework, Micro-service Architecture

Job Purpose
