    DevOps Engineer

    • We are seeking a hands-on, pragmatic DevOps Engineer to join our Platform & Operations team. You will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and security of our infrastructure while enabling rapid, safe deployments across multiple countries. You will work closely with backend, frontend, and mobile engineers, as well as product and operations teams, to deliver scalable infrastructure solutions that meet the demands of healthcare in emerging markets.

    As a DevOps Engineer, you will do the following:

    • Manage and optimise infrastructure in AWS, with a focus on cost control and resilience.
    • Operate and improve our Nomad orchestration platform (migrating from Kubernetes).
    • Maintain and enhance our Octopus Deploy pipelines for CI/CD.
    • Ensure infrastructure-as-code best practices using Terraform/OpenTofu.
    • Support deployments across multiple environments (development, staging, production) and countries.
    • Ensure platform availability meets agreed SLAs.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues efficiently.
    • Implement and maintain security best practices at the infrastructure level.
    • Manage access control, secrets management, and environment segregation.
    • Partner with developers to improve deployment workflows and environment consistency.
    • Participate in incident resolution and root cause analysis (within business hours).
    • Document processes, architecture, and operational runbooks.

    Requirements

    Required:

    • Strong experience with AWS core services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, etc.).
    • Proven hands-on experience with container orchestration (Nomad, Kubernetes).
    • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, ideally with Octopus Deploy.
    • Experience with Terraform/OpenTofu for infrastructure-as-code.
    • Familiarity with networking, load balancing, and monitoring in cloud environments.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
    • Experience in multi-region deployments for services with country-specific configurations.
    • Knowledge of telecom integrations and emerging market connectivity challenges.
    • Familiarity with NodeJS, React, PHP or Java deployment environments.
    • Background in healthcare or regulated industries.

    Backend Software Engineer

    • We're currently hiring for a Backend Software Engineer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs that power our core products. This role requires strong technical skills, the ability to define problems clearly, and effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The engineer will collaborate closely with product, frontend, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure systems.
