    DevOps Engineer

    Job Summary

    In this role, you’ll be our go-to expert for infrastructure, automation, and cloud, from designing resilient systems to implementing efficient CI/CD workflows and building a proactive, scalable monitoring setup. If you’re hands-on with technologies like Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, Ansible, Terraform, Prometheus, Kibana and Grafana and passionate about leading a team of skilled engineers, we’d love to talk.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and Drive Our DevOps Vision: Set the direction for our DevOps strategy, building world-class infrastructure, automation, and operational processes from the ground up.
    • Manage and Scale Our Cloud Environments: Architect, deploy, and support infrastructure across AWS and Azure, focusing on high availability, disaster recovery, and cost efficiency.
    • Run Kubernetes Clusters: Take charge of our Kubernetes clusters for production and dev environments, ensuring security, optimal resource usage, and scaling as we grow.
    • Automate and Streamline CI/CD: Build out and enhance our CI/CD pipelines using tools like Bitbucket, ArgoCD, and other industry-standard tech, making deployments smooth, fast, and safe.
    • Set Up Monitoring and Logging: Design and manage robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems with Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack to keep our infrastructure healthy and issues visible.
    • Write Automation Scripts: Automate everything possible, using Bash, Python, or whatever works best to save time and reduce errors.
    • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with development, QA, security, and more to integrate DevOps practices, ensuring seamless application delivery and high uptime.
    • Lead and Mentor: Guide and grow our DevOps team, sharing best practices, providing support, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Focus on Security: Implement security best practices and ensure our DevOps activities meet the necessary compliance and governance standards.

    Required Experience:

    • Cloud Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience with AWS and Azure, and comfortable managing everything.
    • Kubernetes Knowledge: You know Kubernetes inside-out and have used it in production environments.
    • Infrastructure as Code: You’re proficient with Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools and have experience building and managing IaC in production environments.
    • CI/CD Workflow Management: Skilled at setting up and optimizing CI/CD workflows, particularly with tools like Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
    • Monitoring Tools: Proficient in Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack, with an eye for optimizing system monitoring, logging, and visualization.
    • Scripting Skills: Strong experience with scripting languages like Bash and Python to automate tasks and streamline processes.
    • Leadership and Mentorship: Proven ability to lead a team, provide technical guidance, and cultivate a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
    • Security Savvy: Knowledge of DevOps security best practices and familiarity with industry standards.

    Operational Risk Management Analyst

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support the implementation of Enterprise/Operational Risk Management process & programs.
    • Conduct Enterprise Risk Assessments on Business and Support Groups and as required to support the requirements of Regulators or adopted Certification Standards.
    • Works with Business and Support Groups to ensure the development of the Risk Register, RCSA, and continuous update of the Risk Register as the business environment changes.
    • In Collaboration with Business Groups, design and develop controls to mitigate identified risks.
    • Ensures Risk Assessments of newly developed processes are conducted before they are signed off by their Owners.
    • Update the Risk Register with the new details of the risk assessment.
    • Develops Key Risk Indicators (KRI) for proactive monitoring of risks across Business Groups.
    • Develops and ensures the implementation of Risk Management Policies and Processes
    • Conducts Product-Level Risk Assessment on existing and new products and Services; ensures concerns raised are owned and addressed before Go-Live.
    • Develops risk awareness presentation and conducts same across Business Groups to promote and raise risk management culture and awareness in the organization.
    • Monitors and Reports Operational losses, Claims, and Refunds; Engages concerned Business groups to perform root cause analyses on identified risk events to recommend improvements to prevent these risk events from re-occurring in the future.
    • Supports Business Groups to review Systems and Processes for adequacy of controls as documented in policies and processes in line with best practice.
    • Ensures continuous monitoring of security pledges and timely reporting on the Bank’s exposures.
    • Develop monthly Enterprise Risk Management reports
    • Offers expert opinion in an advisory capacity to Business Groups.

    Education & Experience

    • A first degree in a numerate discipline – Economics, Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Analytics etc.
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Operational Risk Management in Technology, Financial or Payment industries.
    • Completion of at least two of the following professional qualifications - ISO31000, CRISC, CORM, CRA, CISM

    Product and User Researcher

    Key Responsibilities

    The key focus of this role is to fill existing gaps in how our team approaches and leverages quantitative research. This includes:

    • Identify and fill knowledge gaps: Analyze existing UX research processes to identify areas where quantitative data can add value, addressing gaps where qualitative insights alone are insufficient.
    • Develop data-backed hypotheses: Work closely with UX designers, product managers, and developers to formulate hypotheses and validate them with data, closing gaps in user feedback and behaviour tracking.
    • Implement data analysis: Design, run, and analyze large-scale A/B tests, and behavioural data to fill gaps in our understanding of user journeys and pain points.
    • Key metrics definition: Define critical success metrics for new features and existing products that are currently lacking in measurement.
    • Collaborate to fill research voids: Partner with qualitative researchers to balance and integrate quantitative insights, ensuring a more holistic understanding of users.
    • Proactively address blind spots: Work cross-functionally to identify areas where data collection and user understanding are lacking, offering solutions to bridge these gaps.

    Required Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as Human-Computer Interaction, Statistics, Data Science, or a related discipline.

    Experience:

    • 2+ years of experience in quantitative UX research, with a focus on filling critical data gaps.
    • Proven experience in quantitative data collection methods like surveys, A/B tests, and behavioural analytics.

    Skills:

    • Expertise in research methodologies that can uncover areas of user behavior currently not captured by the team.
    • Proficiency in statistical tools (e.g., R, Python, SQL) to analyze and interpret large data sets, particularly those that have been overlooked or underutilized.
    • Experience working with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present actionable insights clearly and address blind spots in user understanding.
    • Technical Skills: Ability to implement and track quantitative studies that complement ongoing qualitative research efforts.
