We are recruiting to fill the position below:

• We are looking for a senior React/Node developer who will participate in the creation and delivery of cloud-based software for web applications, consume and integrate REST APIs, and aid in the development of user interfaces and application design.
• Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the junior development team working on different layers of the infrastructure.
• Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality products are important.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the project manager at Factory Irisii, the duties of the Senior developer may include, but not be limited to:
• Developing new user-facing features using React.js
• Work with the development team and product owner to ideate software solutions
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Collaborate in a team to maintain and improve existing software
• Create and maintain clean, reusable code.
• Troubleshooting, debugging and upgrading software.
• Work with REST APIs for web application development
• Aid in the growth and development of junior engineers
• Work with React.js, Redux, Node.js, GraphQL, RESTful APIs, JavaScript, TypeScript

Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git

Qualifications of the Senior React/Node Developer:

• 4+ years of experience in software development
• 3+ years utilizing a JavaScript framework: React, Next, Nest Ts.ed, React Native etc.
• Must have a familiarity with at least one: Redux, GraphQL, Node.js, Express, Apollo, 
• Should have familiarity with at least one Cloud technology. GCP, Azure, AWS, Firebase or similar.
• Knowledge in databases, one or more of the following Sql (Postgress, Mysql), NoSql (Mongodb)
• Knowledge of Elastic search is an added advantage.

Under the supervision of the project manager at Factory Irisii, the duties of the Intern may include, but not be limited to:

• Assist the development teams and project manager to design and develop software solutions and assist in:
• Designing, recommending and pitching improvements to new and existing features.
• Troubleshooting issues on web-based systems.
• Designing client-side and server-side architecture.
• Building the front-end of applications through appealing visual design.
• Troubleshooting, debugging and upgrading software.
• Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues.
• Updating and editing website content, posts and pages.
• Providing technical support related to web-based systems to internal teams.
• Testing and giving feedback on new and existing technologies.
• Creating prototypes and experimenting with new technologies and features as assigned.
• Work together with the scrum team to design and develop software solutions.

Requirements

• Basic experience with frontend web development and/or frontend mobile app development using React and React Native.
• Basic experience with backend development using Node.js, Express is an added advantage
• Basic experience with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL and UML tools is an added advantage.
• Good attention to detail

We are looking for a junior developer to produce scalable software solutions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
As a junior developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.
Responsibilities:

• Under the supervision of the project manager at Factory Irisii, the duties of the Intern may include, but not be limited to:

• Design client-side and server-side applications
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
• Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
• Developing, and documenting effective APIs.
• Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Create security and data protection settings
• Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design in mind
• Write technical documentation
• Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages

Requirements:

• Degree in computer science, engineering or any related field.
• Proven experience as a developer or similar role
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Experience developing frontend and backend applications
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages, frameworks and libraries such as HTML, CSS, SCSS, Material UI design, Tailwind CSS, React, Next
• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages and frameworks, such as JavaScript, Typescript, Node Js.
• Knowledge in databases, one or more of the following; MongoDB, MySQL.
• Have knowledge or must have deployed to any of these cloud services, Azure, AWS, Google cloud.
