Background

• We are looking for a self driven, innovative Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team. This is a strategic role that will enable you to take the lead in steering teams towards our vision through implementation of our growth strategy and product execution. 

Duties / Responsibilities

• Work in an agile and iterative way in collaboration with the CTO, product manager, designers and fellow front and backend engineers to design and implement theme-able SDKs on various platforms using web, Android and iOS.
• Provide well-structured, re-usable, easily-readable, well documented, testable and efficient code.
• Take the lead in drafting unit and integration tests, and implement automated GUI testing.
• Communicate and collaborate closely with the team while adhering to our development process and using our employed tools.
• Perform regular code reviews.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the developers team.
• Improve code quality as a response to receiving code reviews, but also as you find problems yourself.
• Take charge of the Quality Assurance aspect of our processes and  products.
• Identify tools and methodologies which might help improve the product and/or development process.
• Envision and propose longer term technological goals and approaches, and identify appropriate existing technological platforms and solutions towards their realisation.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree  in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• You know core Javascript (advanced) and DOM manipulation
• At least 3 years of experience in building non-trivial applications in Javascript using React.
• HTML & Advanced CSS, SCSS.
• Know how to convert UI to responsive markup.
• React using the latest React technologies like Hooks, Redux, Animation etc.
• Automated Testing.
• Build tools like Webpack.
• Basic Algorithm and Data structure.

Background

• We are looking for a Senior Enterprise Java Engineer to join us as we develop an industry-changing platform that’s modernising the way companies organise and use data. You’ll be responsible for the design and development of the platform backend functions, in this test-driven development environment.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Designing, creating, and implementing Java-based applications.
• Interpreting briefs to create high-quality coding that functions according to specifications.
• Determining application functions and building objectives with the team.
• Ensuring that written code falls in line with the project objectives.
• Implement and support products/initiatives from infancy to maturity
• Assisting other developers with troubleshooting, debugging, and coding.

Requirements / Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience as a Senior Java Developer.
• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
• MySQL or PostGres
• MongoDB 
• AWS or GCP (You know how to set up services and deployment on any of the cloud platforms).
• System Design Skill.
• In-depth knowledge of popular Java frameworks like Struts, Play, JSF, and Spring. (We use Spring here)
• Experience with Object-Oriented Design (OOD).
• Creating Web Services and RESTful services with Web API.
• Experience with microservices using Spring / Spring Boot.
• Experience with design patterns.
• Knowledge of concurrent programming.
• Knowledge of basic algorithms & data structures.
• You must know how to document APIs and processes.

Nice to have:

• Experience writing parsers or using tools such as ANTLR or Lexer.
• Experience developing in cloud environments like AWS, Azure & GCP.
• Familiarity with; Scala, Spark, Hive, Postgres, PrestoDB, MongoDB.
• Experience with JavaScript & Frontend Technologies.
• Experience with Operating systems like Linux, Windows.
• Experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Experience with real-time technologies like WebSocket & WebRTC.
