Core Responsibilities

• Assessing design: Often involvement with developers and other colleagues from the beginning of a project to offer input on the potential pros and cons of structuring a program in a certain way.
• Testing: The heart of the job, thinking about the best ways to evaluate the software and then perform a variety of automated and manual tests in order to figure out if the software serves its purpose and consistently produces desired results.
• Writing reports: Communication of findings to other team members so that decisions can be made regarding changes, improvements and alternatives to try and also creation of documentation for end users.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree / HND in computer Science or related field
• Skills: Minimum of 1 year experience in software quality assurance or any related field
• Development Methodologies: Agile Software Development, Waterfall Development Model, etc.
• Knowledge on practical use of tools like Selenium, Katalon Studio, Load runner, OWASP ZAP, Burp suite Microsoft Office Suit, Fireworks or Photoshop, Basic knowledge in HTML 5, CSS 3, and Python etc. will be an added advantage

Job Description

• Design overall architecture of the web application.
• Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.
• Maintain code integrity and organization.
• Experience working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements.
• Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
• Highly experienced with back-end programming languages PHP, Python, , Java, .NET, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, Node JS, CSS, Django
• Proficient experience using advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS, l, Laravel, ReactJS, DurandalJS, PostgreSQL
• Development experience for both or either mobile and desktop.
• Understanding of server-side languages Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications.
• Knowledge of code versioning tools
• Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
• Designing and developing APIs.
• Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
• Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle and MongoDB.

Education
