Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in sales and the technology field
• Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
• The ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers.
• Willingness to continue your sales and engineering education.
• Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
• Presentation skills and ability to convey product value

• As the Operations Manager at Hexagon Engineering, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our organizational processes.
• This role involves overseeing daily activities, managing multiple departments to maximize productivity, and fostering a culture of trust, diversity, and inclusion within the operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for direct reports and problem resolution
• Manage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve proprietary tools and systems
• Work closely with legal and safety departments to ensure that activities remain compliant

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in operations management, business administration, or related field
• Two or more years of proven success in an operations management role
• Working knowledge of management software programs, including QuickBooks, and CenterPoint Payroll
• Strong IT skills, including database development
• Multiple years of financial and account reporting experience
• Ability to communicate in more than one language
