    IT Operations Specialist

    Job Summary 

    • The IT Operations Specialist is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of all technology systems and infrastructure within the company. This includes ensuring the security, reliability, and scalability of IT services to support the company’s financial operations, compliance requirements, and business goals.
    • The role requires strategic leadership, technical expertise, and strong alignment with regulatory standards and innovation trends in financial services.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute the company's IT strategy in alignment with business goals.
    • Drive digital transformation initiatives, including automation and cloud adoption.
    • Recommend and implement new technologies to enhance efficiency and security.
    • Oversee day-to-day operations of IT systems including core banking software, ERP, CRM, and telecommunication tools.
    • Ensure 99.9% uptime of systems and manage data backups and recovery procedures.
    • Supervise the development and maintenance of the company's website and digital platforms.
    • Implement and enforce IT security protocols to protect company and customer data.
    • Ensure compliance with CBN and other regulatory standards.
    • Conduct regular IT audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability testing.
    • Lead the IT team, including technicians and support staff.
    • Supervise IT technicians with a strong understanding of website development, graphic design, and social media platforms.
    • Manage relationships with software vendors and service providers.
    • Manage company-wide IT projects from conception to execution.
    • Provide technical support for cross-functional projects and departmental needs.
    • Analyze IT performance and present reports to executive leadership.

    Requirements 

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 4–6 years’ experience in IT, with at least 3 years in leadership role in the financial sector.
    • Proven knowledge of banking systems, infrastructure management, ERP, CRM, cloud services, and information security.
    • Strong understanding of web development (HTML, WordPress, CMS), graphic design tools, and branding elements.
    • Relevant certifications (CISM, CISSP, PMP, ITIL, etc.) are highly desirable.

    Credit Risk Manager

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Credit Risk Management to lead the credit risk function of our consumer lending business.
    • This role is critical to ensuring the development and enforcement of a robust credit risk framework that supports high-volume, short-term lending while minimizing default rates and credit losses.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement credit risk policies and strategies tailored to consumer loan products, including salary advances, personal loans, and microloans.
    • Oversee the end-to-end credit approval and underwriting processes, ensuring consistent and data-driven decision-making.
    • Lead the development and refinement of automated credit scoring models and algorithms to drive risk-based pricing and loan approvals.
    • Monitor loan portfolio performance, with a focus on delinquency management, early warning signals, and recovery effectiveness.
    • Ensure full compliance with local regulatory requirements (CBN and others) as they pertain to credit risk management.
    • Collaborate with the Product, Collections, and Technology teams to design and implement customer-centric risk mitigation strategies.
    • Provide leadership to a team of credit risk analysts, underwriters, and loan monitoring officers, ensuring continuous training and professional development.
    • Lead periodic stress testing and scenario analysis to evaluate credit portfolio vulnerabilities under different economic conditions.
    • Generate and present accurate and actionable credit risk dashboards and reports to executive leadership and board committees.
    • Engage with external auditors, regulators, and data bureaus to maintain transparency and enhance risk governance.

    Requirements 

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
    • Relevant professional certifications such as FRM, CFA, ICAN, ACCA is highly desirable.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in credit risk management within consumer lending, microfinance, or retail banking.
    • Proficient in the use of credit scoring tools, data analytics platforms, and portfolio management systems.
    • Deep knowledge of consumer lending regulations, responsible lending principles, and risk-based collections.
    • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decisions at senior levels.
    • Demonstrated experience with credit automation tools, alternative data usage, and digital lending ecosystems.
