Inventory Officer(Catering) at Elvaridah

Role Summary

• The Inventory Officer maintains accurate, real-time inventory records and proper stock management across raw materials, packaging, and finished goods that support both event catering and daily individual/corporate food package deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and accurately record all incoming raw materials, packaging, and supplies.
• Maintain optimal stock levels to support both scheduled events and day-to-day food package delivery volumes.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile against system/spreadsheet records.
• Organize and manage storage areas to preserve hygiene, freshness, and correct rotation (FIFO) of perishable ingredients.
• Track material usage per event or delivery order and promptly report discrepancies or shrinkage.
• Coordinate closely with the Head of Kitchen and Event Manager to forecast and prepare stock requirements ahead of upcoming events.
• Support procurement by liaising with vendors and suppliers, and maintaining purchase documentation.
• Monitor perishable stock closely to minimize wastage and spoilage-related losses.
• Maintain organized, up-to-date inventory records using spreadsheets or inventory software.
• Ensure storage areas meet food safety and quality compliance standards at all times.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of SSCE/OND; experience in hospitality, catering, or food production inventory strongly preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic proficiency with inventory software or spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel/Google Sheets).
• Working knowledge of food storage, hygiene, and stock rotation best practices.
