Internal Control Officer at LeadCapital PLC

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate internal control processes across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Identify control gaps, operational risks, and process weaknesses, and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct periodic control reviews and compliance checks.
• Support risk management and governance initiatives.
• Prepare reports on control activities, findings, and recommendations for management.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining effective control frameworks within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, ICAN, or equivalent is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3years relevant experience in internal control, compliance, audit, or risk management, preferably within the financial services sector.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail, integrity, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
