    Internal Audit Associate

    Job Description

    • As an Internal Audit Associate you will be responsible for planning and guaranteeing independent and objective assurance on the management of risk and internal control systems throughout the organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct audits to ensure regulatory and statutory compliance.
    • Assess conformance with policies and recommend improvements.
    • Design and implement internal compliance programs.
    • Maintain the risk register and provide regulatory advisory.
    • Perform audits, spot checks, and asset optimization reviews.
    • Reconcile cash transactions and assess profitability of oxygen and hand sanitizer production.
    • Provide staff training on compliance and risk awareness.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in finance, economics, accounting or any related business degree.
    • Certifications such as ACA, is an added advantage
    • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience preferably in the Health or Service sector.
    • Knowledge of the Microsoft office package.

    Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW)

    Job Description

    • The Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW) provides essential patient care, health education, and preventive services within the hospital setting.
    • The role supports doctors and nurses in delivering quality care to patients, ensures adherence to hospital protocols, and contributes to smooth clinical operations across departments such as Outpatient, Maternity, and Emergency units.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide basic clinical care and first aid to patients under supervision of a nurse or doctor.
    • Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, etc.) accurately.
    • Assist in patient assessment, documentation, and admission processes.
    • Support in administering prescribed medications and treatments as directed.
    • Educate patients and caregivers on personal hygiene, nutrition, medication compliance, and disease prevention.
    • Participate in antenatal, postnatal, and child welfare clinic activities.
    • Assist in routine procedures such as wound dressing, immunizations, and specimen collection.
    • Ensure infection prevention and control measures are strictly followed.
    • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas in wards and clinics.
    • Keep accurate patient records and promptly report abnormal findings to the nurse or doctor on duty.
    • Participate in hospital health campaigns, health talks, and patient follow-up.
    • Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and hospital policies at all times.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Certificate or Diploma in Community Health Extension (CHEW or JCHEW) from a recognized institution.
    • Valid license with the Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN).
    • Minimum of 1–3 years of hospital experience preferred.
    • Good knowledge of hospital operations, patient care, and health education.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Compassionate, disciplined, and reliable with strong attention to detail.
