    Intensive Care Nurse

    Responsibilities

    • Overall care of the patients in the ICU, Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports.
    • Administering medications to patients and monitoring them for reactions.
    • Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes in patient conditions using standard monitoring tools.
    • Maintenance and care of Peripheral Central lines.
    • Modifying patient health treatment plans as indicated by patient conditions and responses.
    • Monitor patient's condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice.
    • Collaborate with intensivists and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
    • Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients' charts.
    • Escalate patient observations and problems via approved channels.
    • Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety.
    • Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families.

    Qualifications

    • RN / RICN
    • Must have a minimum of 2 years post qualification working experience in a hospital.
    • Valid License from Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria
    • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff.
    • Basic computer skills.
    • Professional, friendly attitude.
    • Experience in the emergency room or intensive care.
    • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
    • Highly motivated team player willing to go the extra mile.

    Peri-Operative Nurse

    Responsibilities

    • Assist clients and patients undergoing surgery restore and sustain their health and wellbeing
    • Prepare and maintain the theatre for all surgical procedures
    • Provides nursing care to patients undergoing surgery
    • Prepare, sterilize and care for theatre equipment and supplies
    • Documenting and maintaining concise and complete records and report
    • Conduct preoperative and post-operative checks

    Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

    Job Description

    • This role is responsible for preparing and administering proper dose of anesthesia to patients in theatre.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare and administer the proper dose of anesthesia.
    • Prepare patients for anesthesia, including physical assessment and preoperative counselling.
    • Evaluate patients' progress before, during, and after medical procedures.
    • Maintain anesthesia during an operation.
    • Manage patients’ recovery from anesthesia.
    • Educate patients about their surgery and recovery.
    • Monitor patients' vitals and adjust anesthesia levels as required during surgery.
    • Oversee patient’s safety as they recover from anesthesia.
    • Ability to label drugs accurately with concentration.

    Qualifications
