    Integrated Solutions Well Engineer

    • The Integrated Solutions Well Engineer performs all the well engineering activities within a project or Center of Excellence according to guidelines and processes set out in the Integrated Solutions Management System, international and/or local standards and regulations and customer requirements.
    • The Integrated Solutions Well Engineer provides technical input to the well construction, completions, well intervention and abandonment phases, from the concept and tendering stage through project commencement, execution and project close out.
    • During tendering phases, in addition to engineering work, the engineer will be supporting the commercial and procurement teams.
    • During planning and execution stages, the engineer interfaces with stakeholders to ensure safety, well integrity and cost effective job execution.
    • The Well Engineer ensures the well design and well program is prepared and detailed procedures are provided to the execution team; the Well Engineer is a key contributor during project execution providing follow up, technical input, and operational support.
    • The Integrated Solutions Well Engineer will take the ownership of preparing basic well design, technical requirements, and operational plans to accomplish both Baker Hughes and customer’s technical and financial goals.
    • The well engineer drives close engagement with service delivery, HSE, finance, commercial and sales, and other Baker Hughes product lines.

    Responsibilities
    As an Integrated Solutions Well Engineer, you will be responsible for:

    • Ensuring all engineering activities are in line with HSE policies and procedures, and drive HSE culture by setting example through safe work practices. Conducting business according to Baker Hughes values
    • Participating in tender bid preparation process for well engineering input.
    • Participating in customer presentations & meetings (may include travel to other locations).
    • Preparing of well design, well plan and operational procedures for construction, completion, intervention and/or abandonment of wells in area of responsibility.
    • Defining technical services and third party requirements. Preparing operational time and cost estimates.
    • Collaborating with internal and external parties, prepare risk register and contingency plans.
    • Preparing and participating in peer reviews, peer assists and other quality assurance activities related to the project.
    • Monitoring daily progress of job(s) or project(s) and monitor operations expenditure.
    • Evaluating the application and implementation of best practices and technological advancements to Integrated Solutions operations.
    • Communicating effectively with well site/project stakeholders as needed and make recommendations to drive flawless service delivery and operational excellence as per approved plans.
    • Monitoring technical and operations KPIs and benchmark against offset well data and pre-defined well objectives.
    • Participating in Root Cause Analysis investigation.
    • Preparing all technical reports related to the project including End of Well Report, after action reviews, lessons learned summary.
    • Complying with data management according to Integrated Solutions procedures.
    • Keeping abreast of technological and engineering process advancements through affiliation with professional societies and participation in networks, workshops, seminars and training courses

    Requirements
    To be successful in this role you will:

    • Have a Bachelor's degree preferably in Petroleum Engineering or Mechanical/Chemical Engineering with MS in Petroleum/Oil & Gas or Well Engineering.
    • Have at least 5 years of relevant work experience in well construction, completions, intervention and/or optimization: the experience includes Plug & Abandonment Design, Well Integrity Management and Coiled Tubing Applications.
    • Basic knowledge/exposure to specific applications: conventional rotary drilling, horizontal and/or multilateral wells, pad drilling, unconventional.
    • Interpersonal skills to work well with colleagues across all businesses/cultures, achieve objectives through effective influencing, and establish credibility with senior leaders.
    • Excellent analytics and problem-solving, including ability to form hypotheses and move forward in the absence of complete information.
    • Excellent English oral and written communication skills, including ability to synthesize complex topics into clear and simple messages.
    • Experience in the use of MS office suite, power BI or other analytical tools, well engineering and design software (for example: hydraulics, torque and drag, basic casing design).

    Aero Turbine Field Specialist

    • As a Field Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing work at a field site, providing quality service to the customer.
    • He/She will provide the planning necessary for the job including instructions to the crew and equipment used.

    As a Field Services Engineer, you will be responsible for

    • Performing in autonomy some of the Installation and/or Maintenance activities of IET Aeroderivative gas turbine – LM2500/LM2500+, TM6000, and other Rotating equipment in the Field at Customer Site.
    • Performing minor/major maintenance of equipment following the IET Service Site Quality Check Lists and procedures.
    • Providing activities records accomplished at Customer Site to the Baker Hughes IET Supervisor and promotes and maintains good team relations.
    • Providing Technical supervision and advisory service to the Customer Representatives and Site Team to coordinate activities at the Customer Job Site.
    • Executing all required responsibilities safely by following all Baker Hughes Service applicable processes and procedures.
    • Providing expert troubleshooting on the equipment under maintenance and/or installation in the Field.
    • Conducting all business activities in accordance to Baker Hughes Core Values (HSE, Quality and Compliance).
    • Performing other related duties as required according to the specified scope of work.

    • Have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
    • Have a valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate (please indicate clearly on resume)
    • Minimum of 5 years’  experience mainly specialized in LM2500/LM2500+, TM/LM6000, LM9000 rotating equipment.
    • Capable of carrying out the following activities without supervision:
    • Level 1 activities on PGT25/LM2500/2500+/LM6000/LM9000
    • Level 2 activities (Hot Section Exchange),
    • Level 3 activities (Gas Generator changeout/swap and Power Turbine Changeout/swap)
    • Be able to perform in autonomy some of the Installation and/or Maintenance activities of IET Rotating equipment in the Field at Customer Sites.
    • Be able to provide the planning necessary for the job including instructions to the crew and equipment used.
    • Must have Excellent Functional / Technical, Customer Focus, Communication, Interpersonal, and Team working Skills.
    • Capable to work offshore.
    • Be able to travel flexibly, at short notice and be away from your home location for undefined periods of time up to 70%.

    Responsibilities
    As a Field Service Control/Electrical Specialist, after an intense Training Program (ITP Program), you will be responsible for:

    • Providing technical direction for activities to internal teams and skilled labor to ensure safety, compliance, and quality
    • Overseeing, overhaul, Installations, troubleshooting and commissioning of our rotating equipment’s and products at customer sites
    • Preparing and updating technical documentation, plans, daily and weekly briefing reports for customers and internal cross-functional teams
    • Ensuring internal training, compliance and quality documentation is updated, followed, and completed according to company standards
    • Properly manage company digital tools to retrieve technical documents and management of packing list, bill of material and drawings
    • Properly deal with Electrical & Control schematics to provide clear instructions while at Customer sites.

    • Have completed a University or equivalent in Electric / Electronic Technical Degree or any other Engineering Degree.
    • Must have completed NYSC. Exemption not accepted.
    • Possess a maximum of 3 years of experience in an Electrical/Electronic role in an energy or oil and gas environment (or similar) after Graduation.
    • Have basic knowledge of the main control systems as PLC or similar
    • Have basic knowledge of Industrial Generators (multi-poles) and Electrical Motors.
    • Have basic knowledge of Electric excitation systems and Variable Frequency Drivers (VFDs)
    • Display a strong customer service-orientation mindset, experienced leading customers through tough decisions.
    • Be skilled at communicating complex technical information to customers and teams with varying levels of technical understanding
    • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
    • Have a valid passport and have excellent verbal and written English
    • Be ready to travel significantly (up to 70%) without geographical restriction, including offshore facilities
