    Housekeeper

    Description

    • The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of assigned areas within the facility.
    • This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and efficiently.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    General Cleaning:

    • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
    • Dusting furniture, fixtures, and equipment
    • Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms (including toilets, sinks, and showers)
    • Emptying trash and recycling bins
    • Spot cleaning walls, windows, and mirrors

    Room/Area Preparation:

    • Making beds, changing linens, and replenishing towels
    • Restocking amenities (e.g., toiletries, coffee/tea)
    • Ensuring guest rooms are clean, tidy, and welcoming

    Other Duties:

    • Reporting any maintenance or repair issues
    • Assisting with laundry duties as needed
    • Following all safety and security procedures
    • Maintaining a clean and organized area

    Customer Service:

    • Providing friendly and courteous service to guests and colleagues
    • Addressing guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally

    Requirements
    Experience:

    • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred.

    Skills:

    • Attention to detail and a high level of cleanliness standards
    • Ability to work independently and efficiently
    • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks

    Head of Utilities

    Job Summary

    • The Head of Utilities is a strategic position that establishes and executes the business model and directs the strategy for city-scale utilities (water, power, gas, telecom, and ICT) at Alaro City.
    • A senior management position in Nigeria that works closely with the Construction & Delivery team, the Head of Utilities coordinates with Rendeavour group management and management of other Rendeavour cities.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for all aspects of utility management including financial and business strategy, budgeting and planning, policy development and implementation, operations, maintenance, personnel management, contract preparation, and implementation
    • Lead and coordinate key engineering activities that affect Alaro City utilities
    • Provide leadership and coordination to integrate project deliverables and plans with procurement, construction, and commissioning activities
    • Ensure adherence to regulatory reports and deadlines
    • Monitor and maintain internal quality standards of maintenance service deliverables
    • Prepare high-quality reports on the status of utilities at Alaro City
    • Enforce best practices, policies, and procedures for the utilities businesses
    • Establish effective working relationships with other departments, regulatory agencies, consultants, and customers

    Requirements
    Hard skills and experience:

    • Undergraduate degree with a minimum of 15 years of hands-on experience in engineering setup or utility infrastructure, including electricity generation and water treatment and distribution
    • Leadership experience in an engineering or construction firm is a major plus
    • Experience in construction, operation, and maintenance of utilities infrastructure
    • Effective development/project management skills
    • Excellent business analysis skills
    • Excellent budgeting and reporting skills

    Soft skills:

    • Mature, pragmatic, and flexible approach with strong commercial judgment
    • Team player but comfortable working autonomously
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
