    Head, Stockbroking

    Job Purpose(s)

    • Manage and provide strategic leadership and oversight on Securities/ proprietary trading.
    • Set and drive implementation of business strategies which contribute to the organization’s market share, profitability, and related objectives in the division

    Responsibilities:

    • Participate in the formulation and implementation of market risk management policies, procedures, and guidelines.
    • Deploy the use of technology tools to forecast market directions.
    • Provide regular report on market for Prop Trading.
    • Manage a team of asset (equity, fixed income, etc.) traders to aggressively build the business to achieve annual revenue and business growth targets.
    • Build Company’s reputation in the marketplace as a market maker in the respective asset classes.
    • Develop and execute trading to support other business divisions in generating revenue or hedging risks.
    • Monitor market to analyse trends and events that may impact trading strategies and use information to advice clients.
    • Develop the department’s budget in line with Company’s strategies and use information to advice clients.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Management / Board.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

    • Market share – trading volumes.
    • Contribution to Company’s profit.
    • Cost effectiveness of the department.
    • Compliance to risk limits.
    • Service quality

    Job Requirements:

    Education

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
    • Any of MBA, ACA, ACCA, CFA, ACS, CIS, Treasury Dealer Certificate or similar qualification will be an added advantage.

    Experience

    • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Financial Services Industry with +3 years related work experience.

    Relationship Manager, Corporate Banking (Oil & Gas)

    Job Purpose:

    • To grow and manage the Oil & Gas in the business unit with the objective of achieving the bank’s volume, growth and market share and profitability with minimal risk exposure.           

    Responsibilities:

    • Drive client acquisition and management of existing client relationships consistent with the Bank’s strategy in-order to achieve desired quality of business growth.
    • Primary responsibility for the management of own portfolio of customers ensuring that they receive the appropriate level of service and advice to meet their specific needs
    • Identify and drive conglomerates banking relationships
    • Ensure client retention by providing a one-stop point of contact for all the client’s needs and requirements while providing world class customer service.
    • Establish and develop various sales strategies to meet ever changing customer needs in liaison with the Product Development Team
    • Maintain, acquire and reactivate customer relationships to improve deposit liability growth and mix.
    • Ensure the creation of viable and profitable risk assets to increase business office profitability
    • Drive and ensure the monitoring of customer’s tenured investment / facilities.
    • Drive product offerings tailored to meet the needs of the clients, in the business unit while maintaining regular contacts.
    • Initiate and carry out recovery action on non-performing credits facilities

    Key Performance Indicators

    • Achieve the approved PBT target for the Business Unit
    • 100 % attainment of annual targets (Deposits, Risk Assets, fees & commission, client conversions)        

    Job Requirements:

    Education

    • Minimum education level: First degree

    Experience

    • Minimum experience: 5 years relevant banking experience in Oil & Gas business.
