    Head of Retail

    Job Summary

    • To support and manage sales/branch network,meet CASA and fee goals of the bank.

    Job Responsibilities

    • To grow CASA for the bank.
    • To grow the Fee income for the bank.
    • Able to sale salary loans and personal loans
    • Increase the non - interest income by strengthening/modifying existing products and exploring new product/services lines.
    • Support the bank in launching and managing the preferred banking division.
    • Help the bank in setting up the contact centre.
    • Set up KPI’s of the branch sales team, in consultation with the Head of Liabilities.
    • Set up a Daily Operating Rhythm for the sales team at branches.

    Financial Responsibilities:

    • Manage resources effectively and within budget.

    Requirements / Skills

    • Bachelor's in Business or Marketing preferred.
    • 5 - 7 years of experience as Retail (Salary Loan and Personal Loan).
    • Conversant with Savings and Loan Mobilization.

    Head, Risk Management

    Duties and Responsibilities of the Job
    The duties under a Risk Management job description include the following:

    • Designing and implementing an overall risk management process for the organisation, which includes an analysis of the financial impact on the company when risks occur
    • Performing a risk assessment: Analysing current risks and identifying potential risks that are affecting the company
    • Performing a risk evaluation: Evaluating the company’s previous handling of risks, and comparing potential risks with criteria set out by the company such as costs and legal requirements
    • Establishing the level of risk the company are willing to take
    • Preparing risk management and insurance budgets
    • Risk reporting tailored to the relevant audience. (Educating the board of directors about the most significant risks to the business; ensuring business heads understand the risks that might affect their departments; ensuring individuals understand their own accountability for individual risks)
    • Explaining the external risk posed by corporate governance to stakeholders
    • Creating business continuity plans to limit risks
    • Implementing health and safety measures, and purchasing insurance
    • Conducting policy and compliance audits, which will include liaising with internal and external auditors
    • Maintaining records of insurance policies and claims
    • Reviewing any new major contracts or internal business proposals

    Requirements / Skills

    • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in relvant fields with 3 - 6 years work experience.

    Credit / Portfolio Officer

    Job Brief

    • We are looking for a Loan Officer to evaluate, authorize approval or deny loan applications for people or for business. You will act as liaison between customers and our financial institution and you will help qualified applicants acquire loans in a timely manner.

    Responsibilities

    • Evaluate credit worthiness by processing loan applications and documentation within specified limits
    • Interview applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of granting loans
    • Determine all applicable ratios and metrics and set up debt payment plans
    • Communicate with clients either to request or to provide information
    • Justify decisions (approvals/rejections) and report on them
    • Complete loan contracts and counsel clients on policies and restrictions
    • Update job knowledge on types of loans and other financial services
    • Maintain and update account records
    • Assess customer needs, explore all options and introduce different types of loans
    • Develop referral networks, suggest alternate channels and cross-sell products and services to accomplish quotas
    • Go the “extra mile” to build trust relationships, customer loyalty and satisfaction throughout the underwriting process
    • Οperate in compliance with laws and regulations and adhere to lending compliance guidelines

    Requirements and Skills

    • BSc Degree in Finance,or a related field
    • 2 - 3years work experience.
    • Proven working experience as a Loan Officer in Microfinance Bank
    • Familiarity with computers and banking applications/software
    • Solid understanding of direct/indirect lending products and practices
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Customer satisfaction orientation and sales competencies
    • Ability to work in a goal oriented environment

    Portfolio Officer

    Job Brief

    • Portfolio Officer is responsible for underwriting, credit monitoring, and managing the Bank’s various loan portfolios to achieve efficiencies and quality of the process and related lending products and services.
    • Sell loan products and meet loan production targets
    • Perform business development tasks, including managing the pipeline by generating leads and referral business, and maintaining relationships with existing and past clients
    • Meet and communicate with applicants to explain the risks and benefits, as well as the terms of loan products and government regulations
    • Obtain relevant information and evaluate apllicants' financial status, including credit history, debt-to-income ratio, and appraisal reports, to determine recommendation for loan approval
    • Ensure all necessary information and documentation is submitted
    • Consistently deliver first-class customer service
    • Follow up with customer on over due repayment (Recovery)
    • Payments- to vendors, transfers to customers

    Requirements and Skills

    • BSc Degree in Finance, Economics or a related field
    • 2 - 4 years work experience.
