    Head of Product - Credit

    Role Overview

    • The Head of ProductCredit will lead Kuda’s Credit tribe, driving the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of all lending-related products and initiatives.
    • This role focuses on building reliable, scalable, and compliant credit solutions that deliver measurable business impact and exceptional customer experiences.
    • You’ll own the tribe’s roadmap, delivery, and performance, ensuring decisions are data-driven and aligned with Kuda’s broader strategic and financial goals.
    • You’ll also play a key role in building and developing a strong product team, fostering collaboration and accountability across stakeholders.

    Responsibilities

    Delivery & Execution

    • Lead tribe planning and QBRs, ensuring alignment, clarity, and dependency management.
    • Champion thin-slice, iterative delivery focused on measurable outcomes.
    • Provide consistent visibility to leadership through metrics, progress updates, and proactive risk management.

    Data & Experimentation

    • Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making, establishing strong experimentation and measurement practices.
    • Ensure squads have the insights, analytics, and tools needed for effective prioritisation.

    Product Quality, Risk & Compliance

    • Ensure all products meet regulatory, compliance, and security requirements.
    • Embed standards for reliability, performance, accessibility, and localisation into delivery practices.

    People Leadership & Organisation Building

    • Hire, coach, and develop Product Managers across multiple levels.
    • Foster a culture of clarity, focus, and ownership of outcomes.
    • Define and uphold high standards for product discovery, delivery, and communication craft.

    Day-to-Day Collaboration

    • With BLO: Align product strategy with business objectives and financial targets.
    • With DM/TLs: Manage capacity, technical debt, and sustainable delivery practices.
    • With Other Tribe Leads: Coordinate dependencies and shared initiatives.
    • With Compliance, Legal, Marketing, and CX: Ensure alignment across customer, regulatory, and commercial goals.

    Requirements

    • 5+ years of Product Management experience, including 2+ years leading teams or product portfolios.
    • Proven track record of delivering measurable business outcomes.
    • Strong fluency in experimentation, analytics, and data-driven prioritisation.
    • Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
    • Experience mentoring and scaling Product Managers with a player-coach mindset.

    Nice to Have

    • Background in financial services, payments, lending, or infrastructure.
    • Familiarity with compliance frameworks and regulatory environments.
    • Experience working with growth or data platforms.

    Payment System Analyst

    About the role

    • We are seeking a highly skilled Payment Systems Analyst to join our team.
    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of card services on a daily basis, providing support to various teams, and ensuring compliance with banking and regulatory standards.
    • This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

    Responsibilities

    • Carry out daily activities and housekeeping tasks to ensure the smooth running of card services.
    • Provide support to the Customer Experience and Card Operations teams on card-related challenges.
    • Collaborate with third-party processors for periodic maintenance and issue resolutions on the platform, ensuring prompt resolution of any technical issues.
    • Document and maintain a comprehensive Standard Operation Manual (SOM) for all card services.
    • Identify operational and other risks associated with the service and develop a plan to manage them effectively.
    • Generate timely ad-hoc and periodic reports as required by the Business or Card Operations.
    • Periodically review card services and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
    • Participate in projects related to cards, providing technical support and expertise as needed.
    • Ensure compliance with banking, regulatory, and industry standards, such as PCI-DSS, relating to card services.
    • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Team Lead to support the overall objectives of the department.
    • Escalate technical issues to appropriate resources when necessary and manage the resolution process to minimize disruptions in service.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
    • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
    • Strong understanding of Payment Systems (Postillion etc), Card Transaction flow, ISO 8583, and related technologies.
    • Demonstrable experience using SQL
    • Proficiency in documenting procedures and maintaining operational manuals.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements, particularly PCI-DSS, is preferred.
    • Certification in relevant areas such as Certified Payment Card Industry Professional (CPCIP) or ITIL® v4 Foundation is a plus.
