    Head of Finance

    Job Description

    • Oversee the overall financial reporting for the organisation, which will includemonthly financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and all statutory financial reporting
    • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax, treasury, payroll,financial and management accounting functions
    • Manage, report and reconcile all intercompany costs
    • Present financial results and insights to stakeholders, Senior Management and the Board
    • Manage and oversee the tax affairs of the organization and liaise with external tax agencies and authorities for specialist advice
    • Business investment appraisal and analysis
    • Risk Management to ensure the business has a solid risk framework in place
    • Provide sound financial support and insights to enable the organization make critical business decisions
    • Handle cost management and recommend cost-reducing solutions
    • Supervise a team of accountants
    • Research and analyze financial reports and market trends
    • Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
    • Understand and comply with financial regulations and legislation
    • Year-end audit preparation

    Requirements

    • A degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting
    • 10 years’ relevant experience with not less than 4 years in seniormanagement
    • Hands-on experience in preparing financial reports
    • MBA or Master’s degree in finance or Member of Chartered Institute of
    • Taxation (CITN) will be an advantage
    • Experience from an HMO will be an added advantage
    • Must be a chartered accountant i.e. ICAN/ ACCA
    • Sound knowledge of accounting principles
    • Proficiency in accounting ERPs (SAGE, QuickBooks, SAP etc.)

    Electrical Technician

    Responsibilities

    • Experience in residential & commercial electrical building, repair faulty electrical appliances.
    • General upkeep of the electrical systems & gadget within the building, inspect the premises of all assigned facilities regularly, conduct routine maintenance, perform repairs, and fix faulty wiring & replace burnt bulbs when necessary.
    • Conduct preventive maintenance procedures on all electrical equipment and facilities. Provide suggestions on the lifespan of equipment and other electrical components, advising when certain components should be replaced due to potential risks.
    • Assist in coordination of tasks and duties with other technicians and workers involved in installation, testing, and maintenance of all technical equipment.
    • Ensure that routine maintenance task is completed within a schedule period in order to reduce the risk of largely and more complex fault & control costs.
    • Regular inspections of the power panel, routine checks and maintenance work.
    • Duty performance in other areas of the maintenance department to provide support during absence or shortage of staff.
    • Respond to all electrical & facilities task, related work orders and repair/rectify sockets & lighting faults and other maintenance tasks.
    • Performs routine inspections and repairs as necessary on electrical gadget such as the treadmills, distribution panel, and general lighting fixtures.
    • Carry out installation and repair of electrical wiring, boilers, equipment, water treatment panel, light fixtures and circuit breakers.
    • Inspects and conduct check of equipment including motors, pumps, switches & sockets and affirm working condition and proper functionality.
    • Ensure the building’s emergency lighting is up and running at all times. Lighting in all areas of the building must be functional.
    • Ensure all movement/motion sensors for the building’s lighting are in order at all times

    Skills/Competencies

    • Understand procedures for all electrical task & conversant with modern /various types of electrical fittings.
    • Ability to work under pressure & provide assistance in other department.
    • Communication, teamwork, good intuitive & detail to attention.

    Requirements

    • Min of NCE, OND Technical Vocational cert.
    • Min of 5-7 years working experience as a Generator Technician
